Ideal starting point for visiting art museums, anne Frank Huis, etc., as well as cafes, restaurants, and bars. Also next to vondelpark for walks and green spaces. The hotel itself is lovely it is so quirky with a really laidback vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice room, very comfortable bed, love the nespresso machine in our room. Hand wash, hand lotion, shampoo, body wash provided (not toothpaste) Food at breakfast was very tasty, with plenty of options, meats and cheeses mueslis or fruit, yogurt, hot items, pastries and bread, juices from teas or coffees. All fresh and well presented. An honest bar for an evening glass of wine is great. Additionally just around the corner is the airport bus stop (397.

We stayed here for two nights in a wellappointed room with one of the best showers ever! It is easy to get there from the station by public transportation and is central to museums, tours and shopping districts. The breakfast was generous, with lots of choices and was fresh. Bread was particularly good. Although the bar is an honesty bar with fewer options, there are many places nearby. Even though they are not there 24 hours i hope to visit again. Two nights was not long enough!.

This place is ideal for special occasions. The suite was unique. Its centrally located and has excellent lighting and ambiance. They gave me the option to store some free vegan cheese in their fridge. If it werent that expensive, i would stick with it.

This is the first time i have encountered a problem with dinner service. The hotel is located in an area that is not well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the only issue ive had was the late checkin, which was annoying, as well as the poor lighting in the room, forcing me to use my phone frequently. Apart from that, everything was clean and comfortable.

What a lovely, peaceful hotel on the outskirts of the city. Walking takes only 15 minutes to get to the old town. If you stroll along the numerous stunning canals, which are all unique and feature independent shops and cafes or restaurants, it takes 60 minutes. The shower was the greatest ive ever had, and the bed was enormous. With the touch of merely one button. Everything was fantastic, thanks to their excellent service from the receptionist. What an amazing location is in antwerp!.

The hotel is designed in a very distinctive manner, as is the layout of the hotel. The rooms are quite comfortable, and the bathrooms are roomy. Although i found the breakfast to be mediocre, it was plentiful. However, the staff members were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

The bed is soft, but i wish ive checked it in advance as it didnt work well for back pain. The basement rooms feel a bit damp and cold so we had to keep the air conditioner on hi temp all the time. Its e an odd interesting place - architecturally speaking if you look closely, the breakfast is decent. Classy. Modern and very friendly staff.

The hotel is excellent. Excellent personnel. The rooms are quite dark. Please keep in mind that not all rooms can be reached by elevator. I made my reservation based on the elevator listing (although i was treated hernia), but despite being assigned a room, ive had to carry my suitcase up narrow stairs. Not incredibly difficult, just bear in consideration. Other than that, excellent location. Near many attractions.

I personally enjoyed the hotels location, the pleasant walk into the center down the canals, and the convenient access to the trams. The decor and cleanliness were also huge pluses for me. Before my trip, i had read reviews about small rooms which are true and fine, but there is no storage for luggage or clothes so ive lived with suitcases because there was no room for storage. Another drawback for us was that the trip was planned as a surprise for my partners 30th birthday, before our visit we had communicated with the hotel to arrange he receive pampered packages including balloons in the package included prosecco, chocolate, etc. Unfortunately, this was communicateable to booking and meant that it was there. Remember that if you have paid eur 25 for this. I went down to reception, fairness, they were very helpful and sorry and offered me free breakfast the next day and to plan the surprise on the following day. When we arrived, it wasnt worth ur 25, but three balloon pieces were scattered on top of the bed. Overall, nice hotel but not value for money, in my opinion.

Ideal position, conveniently located near many amenities. Excellent value for the money. Visitors should be aware that when the word'small' refers to it, it means small. Despite the size of the room, everything we needed was available. The staff was extremely helpful. There is a fantastic restaurant on site.

This is a great little hotel. We had reserved stiflingly tiny room, but it was ideal for my daughter and me. Large standup shower cubicle with incredibly nice shower. Although the room is somewhat dim, it wasnt causing any inconvenience for us. The receptionist graciously offered us courtesy breakfast the following day for the delay when we arrived and had to wait idly for our room to be ready. To avoid the noise from main street, the hotel is well off the main road. Our only minor complaint was that the one pillow was quite uncomfortable, however, if we were to return to amsterdam, we would most definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located. The central station is a halfhour walk away. There are many attractions nearby! The experience of staying for four days was really enjoyable. It takes only 15 minutes to walk to the heineken hotel, which is truly amazing. Additionally, there are coffee shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Overall, it was incredibly enjoyable during my stay.

Our stay at hotel van de Vijsel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were beautifully decorated and exuded a modern atmosphere. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is highly recommended. It was perfect for us because the location was just tastier than walking distance from the city center. This made it easy for me to explore the sights of Amsterdam. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me great tips and made sure i felt completely comfortable. Overall, ive highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to holland!.

We would most certainly return! Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The staff was really welcoming. Although the room was on the smaller side, as other reviews have noted, it wasnt causing any issues. We had everything we needed, and the bed was quite cozy.

The hotel boasts an intriguing and cool atmosphere, although the rooms are quite small. It is advisable to check the size of the reservation before making a reservation! Excellent location near leidseplein.
