It pains me to write this review as I will be giving away a little gem hidden in the South of NZ. And I would like to be able to reserve a room next time that I am in town.. I stayed at this wonderful establishment for two nights during a business trip. This is a waterhole away from the everyday stress, complete with fireplace, deep bathtub and wonderful breakfast with homemade bread, expertly prepared to order by the inhouse chef. I would strongly recommend this for anyone staying overnight in the region. Especially recommended for a couple wanting some RnR. Five Star+!

Diana and Noel are the best host and hostess we have experienced in years of staying in B&B accommodations. They are kind, helpful, and delightful company. Their home is beautiful, cozy and full of charm. They provide ample space across many rooms in their home. Your breakfast is home cooked delicious and coffee amazing (Noel is a first rate barista).

The hosts, Diana and Noel were fabulous. They ensured our room was ready with all the amenities you would require. Breakfast was prepared for you at a time you liked and always freshly made. They were able to answer all your questions and provide recommendations on places to see. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay with your own library, lounge and dining room as well as a good sized bedroom. Very friendly owners, excellent breakfast and we will definitely be staying there again when visiting Invercargill.

This place is a gem! Noel & Di welcomed us into their home, and it was so lovely after a series of slightly soulless hotels we stayed in during our travels around South Island. It’s a quirky place but all the better for it! We ate at a restaurant called Rocks in Invercargill and the steaks were excellent. Thanks to Noel for his recommendations on the Catlins.

This place was beautiful, comfortable and wonderfully outfitted with lovely linens and decor. It’s very private and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a very easy short walk to a beautiful park with trails, sculptures and a rose garden. In addition there’s a wonderful restaurant very nearby called Buster Crabb. Homemade breakfast was terrific including yogurt, fruit, granola, eggs with bacon and toast….and excellent flat white coffee. Most importantly, the hosts were so warm and welcoming — truly delightful people who we enjoyed getting to know. This was really a memorable experience that exceeded our overall expectations for Invercargill !

We absolutely loved our stay. We received a friendly welcome, great restaurant suggestion which we enjoyed & loved watching a movie . The wee extras were very much appreciated. Breakfast was superior with home made stewed fruit, jams & bread. Poached eggs were made to perfection. Bed was soo comfy. A stunning bnb. Thank you

Our friendly hosts, Diana and Noel, made us very welcome and provided us with lovely breakfasts as well as a few little goodies. They were very kind, attentive, interested and interesting hosts. Noel set us up with a movie to watch each night. We really enjoyed our stay there in what seems to be an increasingly rare traditional B&B. They are long-time Invercargill residents and have done an amazing job of restoring and fitting out this old home.

Exceptional accommodation, hosts were friendly, could not have been more accommodating, despite road works outside that were obviously beyond their control. Quaint, beautiful, old worldly home , we didn’t want to leave!
