I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. This hotel was ideal in every way. There were 14 of us traveling together, and ove did everything in his power to make this a wonderful stay. The restaurant was closed a little after the season late in September. Ove planned a few group meals at another nearby hotel. On some days without reservations, ove allowed us to use his restaurant kitchen to prepare our own meals. It was very entertaining and ove bartended and even helped us clean up afterward. Breakfast was served every morning, and he was able to attend to all of our dietary requirements. The location was in the heart of Rosendal, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

We had a great time at the Rosendal TuristHotel. The owner was very kind. We had a large group of 14 people and because it was past peak season and the restaurant was closed, he let us use the kitchen to make our own meals. He still had the bar open so we could have some drinks. He also gave us some good information about the area and we learned a few things about norway and it's culture from him. It was also a good location for the folgefonna glacier activities we planned for kayaking and hiking. You can even take a walton ferry back to bergen for a day trip, which we took advantage of.

The setting of the hotel is ideal! The rooms are nice, but don't have amenities like you might expect from a hotel. You must share the bathroom and toilet. The bed was good. Breakfast was simple but good and well presented. Restaurant below medium size and resembled a cheap cafe. No menu and prices to inform. The staff was nice but very unprofessional.
