I stayed here in a tent three years ago and had a good experience, so this time we went back to Totem for two nights for a cabin stay. First, the good, the cabin was clean and had basic amenities that are expected at the same price you'll pay elsewhere. We had one meal in the restaurant and the food was delicious. But it's not a fancy meal you can expect here but if you've been on the road for a while it's a nice warm meal. The restaurant has the best service. Now on to the bad. There was no toilet paper in the women's and men's toilets all night long. We called the reception at around 2300 hours to let them know, and no one answered the phone. When they complained the next day, the receptionist said they hadn't heard this until this morning but that the reception had been manned the night before but when no one answered the phone, it doesn't help. I also heard my fellow traveller complain about the free wifi available in the common areas. This was so unstable that this shouldn't be promoted. My fellow traveler was the first one to complain this year, as it was pointed out. Much good can be experienced at Totem. The young men who checked us inn were excellent and friendly, but the last impression counts and the receptionist needs a course in hospitality on how to

Hadde bestillt luksustelt og det svarte absolutt til forventningene og beskrivelse.Kjempegode dyner og magisk med elven rett utenfor teltet.Været var flott og det gjør selvfølgelig noe med totalopplevelsen.Positivt overasket over renhold og frokost,enkelt men meget bra.

Rommet var stort og luftig og lå vekk fra veien så det var stille og rolig. Vi hadde egen terrasse. God seng og to behagelige hvilestoler. Godt med lys. Stort bad med varme i gulvet. Kjøleskap på rommet. Toftemo Turiststasjon er ikke et hypermoderne hotell, men et sted med massevis av sjarm. Fantastisk service av personalet! Nydelig og rikelig med frokost. Ute er det oppvarmet svømmebasseng i sommerhalvåret.

In July, we rented a family room for one night. For a family of four, this is ideal. The room is a little antiquated, but the mattress was comfortable. Despite being a fairly compact space, the room actually consists of room no. 2, which contains two smaller child beds. On their website and on Facebook, it is not stated that it costs lkr rp per person rp day for visitors. A charming man checking in. A tiny refrigerator and the room's door were both simple and inviting. Wonderful bathroomshower. It appears as though you are being tricked into paying rp per person rp day even though they don't indicate it before you actually arrive. In a good way, the hotel is family-centric, or for the worse. The breakfast was adequate, with hot eggs and bacon, excellent bread, and bread rolls, though the choices were fair. During dinner, food warmed in a microwave. In either way, the setting is family-driven. For instance, complimentary wifi is stated, but it is unstable and so slow that it is inoperable to use. In Norway, all contemporary hotels in 2020 have high-speed wifi. In addition, the location is claimed to have a summer pool, which is a part of the price for a typical hotel. Even normal surfing and Netflix were too slow.

We rented a small cabin without water or toilet. The amenities were far away. We rented a large cabin with water and a shower for the same price as others in similar regions. Breakfast was also poor for the price. There was frequently no toilet paper. I once called to request a refill, but a few hours later still nothing. One of the receptionists was pleasant enough to help us with all our requests and provided excellent trail and area advice. There are no special reasons to stay in this location. It is near the main road, but in the middle of nowhere and requires a car to get to all the intriguing places. Its a 30 minute drive to the main entrance to condone national park, Ottamysuster.

We are disappointed with this hotel and camp. The atmosphere is very comfortable. They serve very helpful and friendly staff. The room is very spacious and well-kept. The breakfast buffet is a must have.

The room was clean, the interior was a little older. Everything was in good working order. Lovely beds and newer beds. The best covid 19 breakfast I've had so far. Much better than any chain hotel breakfast I've had, scrambled eggs and bacon REAL scrambled eggs, not a dodgy powder mix. Unless you are ready for prefabricated and heated dinner on-site, look for another option. But this review is for me, not for the dinner service.

Vi hadde et rom i hovedbygningen og vi hadde et glampingtelt. Både vi og våre ungdommer som sov i glampingteltet var veldig fornøyde.Store og fine rom og rene. Glampingteltet lå veldig fint plassert rett ved Gudbrandsdalslågen.
