Discovery Island Resort was incredible. The property was so chilled and tranquil. The room, pool, restaurant and the grounds were lovely and spotlessly maintained. But most of all the management and staff were wonderful. Toni and her team were always courteous and efficient...and made us feel welcome the whole time. Can't wait to stay there again. C’était chouette piscine propre et très agréable, bon dîner et ambiance super calme :) navette vers Coron Town jusqu’à tard dans la nuit et à partir de tôt le matin parfait pour être à coron sans être dans la ville. Mais par contre ne compter pas sur le fais de vous baigner dans la mer.

the staff are so accommodating. they treated us like family. it was gone away from home. Rizza the host is so warm n attentive to our needs. having Rambo, i consider him the dog host, is very comforting for me. kayaking around the mangroves just by the property was one of the activities i truly enjoyed. will definitely stay there again in the future.

Discovery island being away from the main town of Coron itself was unique. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a bookshelf where you can take a book and leave one (exchanging), if you are a reader on vacation. The Town might have some expensive resaurants depending on where you go. There is an infinity pool which is amazing. You can walk the whole island in under 30 minutes. The food is served fresh upon asking and delicious from the only island Resaurant and bar on land. Overall, if you like being private and secluded, this is the spot for you.

We stayed here from December 1 until December 6. The location is close to corn on a tiny island. This is a pleasant setting. The staff was friendly and smiling. We are disappointed with the service but can't wait to do so again. When we informed the employees that we wanted to rent a kayak at the place, they said that was no issue. However, when we came to the reception a couple of hours later, we were told that there weren't any paddles in the kayaks and that a past customer blew up the last one. We only cleaned our room once. Overall, this is an okay hotel, but don't expect much from it.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. The service was great, and the restaurant food was very good. The room was really nice, with a view of the bay. Aircorn worked great. Hot water also worked. Thanks to stark and lorna going above and beyond to ensure guests were happy, which made us cancel another resort and come back to discover. The resort is located in natural mangrove land., quiet and peaceful, away from the city. That said, we went pretty crazy some nights with karaoke and the bar area went off. You can also walk the entire island. The pool area is great for relaxing, with an infinity style overflow and close to the bar. We were a couple, but this is good for families, groups, and solo travelers. A free ferry all dayevening to town is also a great service. We never waited more than minutes at either end. There is a small pebble beach, but do not expect white sand beach. It is not advertised as such and doesn't claim to have one, but this didn't change our experience at all. Thanks for your discovery, I hope to return someday.

Our time was lovely when we landed a small boat right by the hotel on a tiny island. Despite being near corn, it had the feeling of a distant tropical island. The service was prompt and welcoming, and the personnel generally did a good job. The rooms are simple but spacious and clean, and watching the sunset in front was a wonderful ending to a hectic day. The eatery had mainly western food that was costlier than other restaurants in corn. There was no hot water in the shower. The mattresses didn't have mosquito nets. In the mangroves, there was garbage that would have been very simple to get rid of, and we did, as we were there. The plastic outdoor furniture has a cheap feel and is better suited to the area.

The private boat tour was excellent indeed far better than the big boats operating from corn. Discovery Island is a fantastic little resort. It really stands out by its 10 minute boat ride from corn to the island. Our room was comfortable and had quiet and efficient air conditioning. Although the bar and restaurant are an open-air affair, it's appropriate to the establishment's atmosphere. The food is a mix of Filipino standards and typical tourist items like pizza and burgers. The bar is adequate in every way, but it needed to improve on its lack of bottled water. The staff and management were pleasant and welcoming, but hey, it's the Philippine!

A peaceful setting provides a wonderful feel of a real get away. Away from reality. You can be really at ease. We were checked in for 4 days, 3 nights. The first tip is to double check with the resort upon booking, whether your room is air-conditioned or not, depending on what you prefer. We made our reservation through their website. We thought or perhaps assumed that all rooms were aced. Their site wasn't entirely clear. But this didn't worry us much at all, as we had 2 electric fans, and the nights and early mornings can be cold. Although ac can occasionally be nice, as example upon first arrival and every arrival from tours, etc. The resort has a fantastic nature and a fantastic atmosphere. Love it! The resort provides tours and massages. Another suggestion is to still compare with tour agencies outside the resort. Fi massages are performed in your own room, some people will enjoy it, some won't. It was 5050, so we anticipated a different area of the resort. It was nice that you could rest directly after your massage, but there are no massage beds and if there are 2 of you having massages in the bed, yes you can imagine the space. But it was still satisfactory. We heartily recommend this location. Romantic, family-friendly island resort.

The resort is very good yet could be better with additional activities to do aside from staying in the swimming pool and/or drinking. Additional activities can be introduced and scheduled for the week such as karaoke nights, cooking lessons of local foods, special presentations by the staff, zumba or other dancing exercises, games for the kids like crafts, tie die shirt painting, face painting, These will encourage the guests to stay in the resort and not cross to town. Also, other delicious food choices in the town can be found at lesser prices than the resort.

The staff is very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. We commend them for their excellent service and pleasant disposition. We appreciated the boat rides and the crews that took us back and forth to Coron town. There is no air conditioning, no water pressure, and no hot water. The door locks need to be replaced. The toilet seat in our room C10 needs a screw. The metal shelves are rusting. The hotel is not recommended for handicapped people. The restaurant serves good food. Recommend complementary breakfasts every day.

Les chambres sont assez vieillottes et ont sérieusement besoin d’être rénovées. Au niveau restauration juste moyen. En revanche ce qui est super c’est l’emplacement de l’hôtel qui est sur une petite île au large de Coron qui vous évite le bruit et l’agitation du centre-ville. Une petite navette organise tous les jours à la demande le transfert à Coron City. Attention pas d’eau chaude ni air conditionné.
