We had a wonderful stay. Pedro, the concierge, went above and beyond by suggesting restaurants and things to do. Our hotel room was clean, well equipped and had a great bed. The location was excellent. We were able to easily walk to transit and many sights. Next time we are in Lisbon we will definitely stay here again!

Ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und großem, sauberen Badezimmer. Das Frühstück hat mit frischem Obst und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Personal ist außerordentlich nett und herzlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Abends und nachts ist in dem Viertel sehr viel los, da es ein beliebtes Ausgehviertel ist. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern (sehr schalldicht) läßt es sich aber sehr gut schlafen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Our stay at Casa do Mercado was absolutely wonderful! Pedro and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our visit. We arrived without any plans, and Pedro was incredibly helpful — arranging restaurant reservations, recommending must-see sights, sharing tips on avoiding the big crowds, and even pointing us to the best sunset viewing spot. His local knowledge made all the difference and truly elevated our experience. The location is fantastic — just steps from the Time Out Market and within easy reach of so many of Lisbon’s top attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The continental breakfast was just right to give us the energy we needed to kick start the day. Thank you, Pedro and the entire Casa do Mercado team, for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Location, location, location! This property is in the best location to explore and enjoy Lisbon. Maria is phenomenal. Would stay here again. Just know there is no elevator so if have heavy luggage be prepared to carry up one flight of stairs. There are rooms on the first floor so maybe ask for one if that is the case. Great place to stay in Lisbon!

Clean room with comfortable bed, tight space in the shower room. Shower hot and cold water temperature are on extremes, it is difficult to get the right temperature. WiFi is slow. They have basic continental breakfast. Location is excellent for metro and bus. Lots of good places to eat.

Super locatie, zeer aangename en behulpzame gastheer. Mooie kamer, alles wat je nodig hebt. Beetje gehorig wel als je een lichte slaper bent. Het ontbijtje in de nabij liggende ontbijtbar was beperkt maar wel lekker.

We truly enjoyed our stay so much. Manuel, the manager, was so kind and helpful and recommended us really great things to do around the area. The room was beautiful and refreshing especially after a long day of walking and doing all kinds of things. I definitely recommend to anyone that likes being in the center and around a lot of life. There’s a major transport station about 5 mins away which is really helpful to get around to further places, such as beaches outside of Lisbon, and of course the airport and other train stations. Thanks a lot Manuel, we had a great time in Lisbon !!!

Casa do Mercado is a great place to stay to explore Lisbon. It's convenient for the old town and the waterfront. My room was excellent with a huge and comfortable bed and a pretty balcony and shutters to make the room cosy at night. Manuel, my host, was charming and incredibly helpful. He went all out to ensure my stay went smoothly and that I made the most of my Lisbon experience. I will definitely be staying again!
