Ive travelled around Portugal for roughly three weeks, and while I may have stayed in younger hostels with rooftop bars and all the conveniences, this location is by far my favorite. With candles lining the doors in the evening and soothing music playing in the hostel, delicious homecooked meals for cheap at night, rooftop yoga, and a wood fire burning outside each night, I knew I would not be leaving too soon. With a tiny, at-home feel, this location may not be suitable for everyone, but I enjoyed the chance to meet other amazing people there and lucked in with Claudia every now and then. Ill return. Thanks, guys.

This hotel is in the middle of the Old town and close to the beaches, shopping, dining, and groceries. The owner-manager lived on the upper floor of the building and was frequently onsite. The friendliness of the employee was good. The kitchen was well-equipped. Many public spaces had open ceilings to ensure fresh air.

I love this small place and will definitely return. The atmosphere is very relaxed, mainly due to the owner Claudia and the cozy vibes of the place itself. It is an ideal place to meet people from all around the world. It was great to return to the guests all sitting together on the terrace chatting, drinking, eating and even singing together after a day at the super beautiful beach or after a satisfying daytrip. It felt like home, not a hostel.

This place is absolutely worth visiting. The owner named Claudia is a very kind person. The kitchen offers everything you need for cooking, an orange-free area, and very clean floors. This hotel does not feel like a hostel.

Wow, What a fantastic hotel! This hostel has a fantastic vibe. Do not stay here if you enjoy being a newbie or something shiny. This place is perfect in every way, from the old furniture to the art of the vibe and the people it attracts. In the heart of beautiful Lago Old Town, with a lovely hostess, who will give you the best advice about the area.
