I had a really great stay at Outside Puerto Rico. The property was extremely clean, and I had a beachfront room with a view that was honestly beyond amazing. It was also very easy to get in and out, which made the whole stay feel simple and low-stress. The location was excellent. Scooters were easy to find, the oceanfront walk was beautiful, and the area felt safe the entire time. There were also plenty of places to work, relax, and get things done, which made it a great fit whether you are visiting for vacation, work, or a mix of both. The rooftop was awesome, the common areas were comfortable and well-designed, and the service was very good. I also appreciated that they texted to check in during the stay. Overall, everything about the experience was positive, and I would definitely recommend it.

Arrived and the first thing we appreciated was the beautiful ocean view and access right from the property. To us that surpassed any minor inconveniences around no staff onsite, or some rustic areas not perfectly maintained on the outside of the property. The terrace on top was rarely used but we took advantage of it regularly. Beautiful place to relax and watch the waves while enjoying a glass of wine. Kitchen was fully equipped. Would have been nice to have a few more seasonings other than salt and pepper but overall provided what we needed for some easy breakfasts and lunches. Refrigerator was separated to ensure each room had its own section which was a great idea to keep your own food. Also was great to be able to throw a salad together for a lighter meal when restaurant food was getting heavy ! There are a few restaurants walking distance but uber was a great way to get around wherever you wanted to go. Price was excellent for San Juan and we would definitely use Outsite again if we returned.

We wasn’t sure what to expect because we’ve never stayed at a place with a shared common area like this. It was a unique and great experience. Our bed was comfy, room was small, clean, cute, and just what we needed. The room stayed nice and cool. We were worried before coming that we would get a room without a good A/C but no worries! The only downside is that we only had one towel each for the week but with a washer and dryer there, we were able to keep them clean.

Clean room and bathroom, and a fully equipped community-style kitchen. The only downside was that parking is limited to street parking, so availability can vary. The room includes all the basic essentials and is perfect for travelers who plan to be out exploring most of the time. My partner and I mainly used the room just to sleep, it has one room, one bathroom, a closet, and no TV. Overall, it was a very peaceful experience. Bonus points for the balcony view and beach front!

Everything at Outsite was just fantastic! The neighbourhood is wonderful, Outside is across from a beautiful swimming beach in Ocean Park, close to neighbourhood park & recreational centre, close to bus route. It was so lovely to be able to do morning & evening walks along the beach and swimming; to go to wonderful restaurants around the area; quick Uber or bus ride to city & old San Juan and just relax. The room is perfect and the communal space in the house so well kitted. Loved it all, and will be back.

Great spot for anyone who wants to be right by the beach — the property is literally steps from the sand, with amazing ocean breezes and views all day. The rooms are small and simple with no TV, but the space feels calm, relaxing, and safe. There’s also a convenient community kitchen where you can cook or store groceries, which is perfect for short or extended stays. One important note: staff is not onsite, so be sure to check your email (including spam) and your text messages for the access instructions before you arrive. Highly recommend for a peaceful, beach‑side stay in San Juan.

Loved the room, very cute quiet stay, tucked in right next to the gated community although it’s right on park blvd, it’s a very quiet stay. The ocean is all you hear =). We loved the room. If I could make one suggestion, is a bit more sturdy table or two for those with back issues when getting clothes from our bags and for putting our things on. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Room was clean although outdated and not well maintained. The small cosmetic repairs were not done by a professional for sure (as in scotch tape holding things together). But this did not take away from the charm of the place, the beautiful communal space, lovely outdoor space and the view! Ocean right across the street! Incredible sunsets, lovely coffee shops within walking distance. I would definitely come back.
