About Lazare Picault
Set in quiet, private, landscaped gardens, only a minute's walk from the beach, the hotel offers a panoramic view of the picturesque Baie Lazare in the south-west of Mahé where the first French explorer, Lazare Picault, landed in 1742. The chalets overlook the famous bay. Victoria city centre is situated approximately 30 minutes' drive from the guesthouse, and the beach is a 5-minute walk away. The establishment, which offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, consists of 2 beach villas and 12 pleasant hillside chalets. The air-conditioned guesthouse comprises a lobby with hotel safe, restaurant and car park. Room service is also avaiable. The standard chalets have a panoramic view of the bay and feature ceiling fans, while superior and junior suite chalets offer both ceiling fans and individually regulated air conditioning. A hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, kitchenette with minibar/fridge, en suite bathroom, double bed, TV, in-room safe and a balcony or terrace also feature. The hotel only offers Bed and Breakfast. However, guests can enjoy traditional cuisine with exotic and tasteful flavours created from a blend of Seychelles influences in the restaurant. It is only open for dinner and offers a panoramic view.
