On our journey to Portugal, we stayed overnight in hostel Don Rodrigo. What a discovery. Beautiful rooms, spotless, and nicely furnished. We had the good fortune of a two-member family catching food poisoning from the previous night's restaurant, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to remain in one of the rooms for an extra two hours so we could recuperate. A thoughtful gesture, and I'm really thankful for the extra time.

This modern, tidy and clean hostel is located in the middle of the old town on a narrow street. The place is very close to the Plaza Major. Although the rooms are small, they have private facilities and are really adequate for a night. They have a friendly and friendly owner. The free safe underground parking is what makes it unique. This place is very good to stay if you are in the middle of the old city.

The price was not worth what I was hoping for when I found a hostel in the area. But we were very clean and calm, and we slept soundly. There is free private parking but it's hard to find as the one-way system in town has changed and it takes us an hour to find it. No hair dryer.

Arriving early than planned, we contacted the number provided, and a man came straight away and without charging us a cent! And took care of our belongings. Even though we had trouble eating lunch, he spent a while explaining the hotel and other town-related attractions. He then guided us down a very narrow road and around to the underground garage, where he directed us to a secure parking lot. The town exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely stay at Don Rodrigo's hostel.
