I spent the night in a lovely hotel. The room was basic but clean and recently painted with a private bath, a nice balcony and effective heat. It is in an excellent location only one block from the main plaza. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay again.

We've stayed in 11 different places on our leisurely trip from France, and this was the worst. It wasn't our first choice, but the two other places we wanted were full. It wasn't terrible it was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it was definitely the loudest, largely because our very noisy neighbors seemed to spend their time moving around the furniture. They also appeared to be cold and their coughing could be clearly heard. But with not enough space in the very small room to get around someone sitting at the table you may well understand why they moved things around. Despite the shower cubicle being very small, the restroom was good. Parking is a bit of a problem, though you can park in the lovely Plaza Mayor for 30 minutes and transport your luggage around to the hostel, which is only about 100 meters away. There is supposed to be a space outside for loading and unloading, but there was frequently someone in the area. With the Plaza Mayor being so close, the location is great.

I'm very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to others. It was a wonderful short stay at this location. I got a single room for a very reasonable price. Though not the most updated, everything I needed was there, and the price was unbelievable. The people were what mattered to me. I'm not sure who the proprietors were, but two nice men over 50 assisted me. They offered to provide me with a takeout breakfast because I was leaving early the following day. Although it was a simple breakfast, it is the moment when it counts. I also received a free beer.

The room is clean and comfortable. Parking is becoming a little more difficult but the same quality is available in this hostel. Administrative is first class. It is close to the Plaza Mayor, which has lots of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast is typical of Spain and tasty. I plan to stay here whenever I visit Trujillo.
