We only stayed one night, but the service from the reception was great, the room was also good, so good location for the cathedral, the city walls walk and the old town walk. And the first step up is not worth it at all because the alleyways can be confusing.

The location is very strategic so you can use it as your business travel destination if you have mobility issues. The room's character and comfort are very unique. The service was good.

Despite the best efforts by the hotel front desk, this is not a four-star hotel. We had a number of issues with the first room provided, including the lack of curtains on a brightly lit square, a broken glass bathroom door and being directly adjacent to the lift shaft. To their credit, the reception staff changed our room to one with shutters, but the bathroom floor flooded whenever used. The hotel's character is unusual, and the location in the old city is good. However, this makes it very difficult to find and we had a nightmare walking through the narrow lanes of the old city by car. My advice is to make for the placa san women and walk the rest of the way. Thanks to Javier for making it possible for us, but it wasn't the luxury boutique experience we had hoped for.

My husband reserved a romantic package for me and only spent half of it. The hotel is in a historic structure that truly impresses you, and the room was nicely furnished. The main cathedral is within a 3-minute walk of this charming little hotel owned by a family. The owner should fix the address, which is not correctly displayed on google map. Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback is that the location is not accurately indicated on google maps, so it needs to be fixed. This is not even a drawback when I requested a warm blanket that they provided us without covering the duvet, it was clearly worn by previous gust and had numerous stains. Overall, the rest was a very enjoyable trip.
