The swimming pool and kids' areas are great. I do think I would return to this hotel, but I think Id probably do it on a self catering basis. There is no point paying extra for flat drinks and inedible food. We decided to go on a long weekend but didn't realize it was the end of the season. We had asked for a ground floor apartment if possible because we had a wheelchair user in our group and were very pleased when we received this on arrival. The two bedroom apartment was really nice and well decorated. The rooms were adequate in size and the place was clean. We were very impressed. So we decided to go to the bar, we didn't mind having a glass card system because we were only wanting one drink at a time anyway. But the drinks system had been turned off, and they were offering soft drinks in bottles that were both warm and usually flat! We had read in prior reviews that the bar staff could be rude, but I must say that every member of staff we encountered was friendly and satisfied. The first night we went to dinner, it wasn't too bad. We all got something that night but it seemed to get worse as nights progress. One night we resorted to flavors at the snack bar, and it got worse as the nights progress. We heard quite a few people complain about the food while we were there. I'm kind of wondering if

I arrived in September and after reading the reviews, I was a little concerned about this hotel. Overall, the food was decent, with many alternatives. The pool has lots of sun loungers. Swimming pools are fantastic for young children. The animation team keeps an exciting event going on. On Monday night, the bar employees ran out of vodka and malibu, telling us they wont have anything until Wednesday. They went to the supermarket, apparently, and had it by Wednesday. Then they ran out of pepsi, so they served it from the bottle, which was always flat and disgusting! Yet Id rather return, especially with our grandson, who would love it there.

This was our first trip to the san ploy. It was wonderful to rehearse with the regular employees and get to know the newer ones! Over the past couple of years, the san ploy has undergone reform and improvements throughout it's closed period. This year more noticeable was the installation of air conditioning in the rooms, which was a welcome addition. A rule that merely allowed one plastic glass per person to be applied to the bars service to prevent certain guests from pouring several drinks on their tables in the hopes of continuing their drinking sessions after the bar closed at midnight. We value this service because the sheets and towels in our apartment were changed daily. We would lock the door and leave the key inside the lock if we had stayed in the room before the cleaning staff had arrived and wanted privacy, so we would lock the door and leave the key inside the lock to keep cleaning employees from entering without us. The entire week we were there, we discovered a nasty odor in the restroom. We discovered that the fried eggs must have been prepared prior to opening at a different time than the food was hot, plentiful, varied, and delicious, as well as the salads varied. In addition to that, we found the fried eggs to have been prepared first in the restaurant before it opened at am because by a certain point by the time of breakfast to the bus station in closet and

Weve stayed at Hotel San ploy numerous times, and weve noticed improvements each time. What a boost it was this year, the restaurant was the key improvement! Its been completely renovated, with bright new floor tile throughout, a new kitchen service layout, with freshly prepared eggstoorder and bacon for breakfast, as well as fish and meat for lunch and dinner! The entire restaurant is now brighter, roomier, and more open, and there is a new outdoor terrace area this year where guests can dine al fresco! We felt the food itself had been greatly improved with a good selection of excellent food, kept at a reasonable temperature, and the desserts were far superior. Naturally, the availability of free wine, beer, and soft drinks for everyone, regardless of board status, at both lunch and dinner. The warmth of the occasion, many of whom weve come to know over the years, makes it possible to return to the San ploy whenever they visit this wonderful hotel. Flies are an ongoing problem, however, because the hotels position in the countryside. Installing a number of electric fly rappers, which are available in several contemporary and discreet designs, is an additional improvement to the restaurant and bar area. Maybe this could be the next improvement we observe when we visit this incredible hotel! Despite our doubt, we anticipate returning to the San ploy in 2021.
