This family guesthouse has a breathtaking view, fresh food from the vegetable garden, clean rooms, and great hosts. The guesthouse is an old post office built by the English more than 100 years ago.

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay and worth the price. This is a great spot for travellers visiting Sripada Adams Peak. Our family went to Maskeliya and spent three nights in this small but lovely location. The range of mountains, including Adams Peak just in front of our eyes and Missakele reservoir, was beautiful. The supper was breathtaking. The climate was superb. This hotel is a family run business that is a cozy and friendly place to stay. To my knowledge, they have four rooms, and our one, no. 1, was a spacious rooming with two king sized beds. It was more than enough for our family of two. The room and linens were reasonably clean. Although there is no tea or coffee maker facilities, free wifi is available. The food was homemade, and Vegas was made of fresh. There was a good variety and availability, and everything tasted fantastic! Prices were not cheap, but quite reasonable given the good quality of the food. In maskeliya town, it is difficult to find quality restaurants. The proprietors employees were pleasant and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.

I spent two nights here with my partner. While it took us a while to get there due to the hotel's sloping, narrow bumpy road, it was conveniently close to Adams Peak, which we climb the following morning, despite its position. Despite being just a lady team, the personnel was warm and accommodating when we got there. The hotel wasn't as peaceful as anticipated from the images taken when making our reservation, but it was still lovely. Although it would have remained there, there wasn't a hairdryer in the apartment. The lakeview panorama from the room was wonderful, as was the view from the room. We needed mosquito nets, a table, and two comfy mattresses in the room. Although there wasn't any air conditioning in the room, it was still pleasant. There is a mini market as well as wifi throughout the day and serves a wide range of meals, lunch, and dinner. There aren't many eateries or stores close by.

This place has a very satisfying experience, even after reaching Adam's Summit within 30 minutes. The staff was extremely welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, and the view was stunning.
