I highly recommend this hotel as a front desk employee. Everything is really fine! They were very helpful with everything we asked and we asked them to extend the checkout a little bit and they replied yes. And they always smiled kindly! If maybe the breakfast had more choices there would be a 1010 hotel! Thank you for everything.

I enjoy my stay at Sonnenberg Hotel. Our room had a balcony and an amazing view of the eager. We just bought a bottle of wine and watched the sun set against the mountains. Magical. Friendly staff, spacious room, great breakfast. Convenient location close to the train station.

We had a great time at the hotel Sonnenberg because Grindelwald is such a beautiful location to visit. A balcony with a mountain view is well worth the extra cost. The views of the mountains as the sun sets in the evening were incredible. Breakfast is excellent, and you can choose from a wide variety to prepare you for the day. The main street is a short distance away, as are the train stations, eateries, etc. Would like to return someday.

I absolutely suggest this hotel as a receptionist! Everything is very well! They did a lot for what we asked and kindly asked if they could extend the check out a little. They always smiled. If maybe the breakfast had more options, there would be a 1010 hotel. Many thanks to everyone.

I stayed in a single room 104 with a fantastic view of the mountains in the morning for several nights. The entire staff was quite cordial and accommodating, and the owner was really helpful whenever we needed information about sightseeing and activities. The location was excellent because the train station or town could be reached on foot in just a short while. For those who carry large luggage, the hike to the hotel could be challenging and a little steep, but don't be afraid to take a moment to take in the stunning scenery on your way up. If I go to Gründelwald in the near future, I'll most surely remain there again.
