The hotel is situated close to the top of Mount Rigg and the restaurant is quite nice. The gourmet menu is wonderful and almost entirely made of local products. The team is friendly and professional. The wine pairing is fantastic and everything is in sync to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible! We will be back as soon as possible.

It's amazing to watch the views and location from the room. And then, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were good. After that, the room's cleanliness was so bad, and the condition of the bed and pillow was very uncomfortable, and they will provide additional towels, but the cleanliness would be better if they can fix it. Subsequently, the breakfast menu was very boring and base on only local ingredients.

Undoubtedly a highlight in the area. Except for the coffee, all ingredients are local sourced in Switzerland. Great cooking and presentation with a herbal theme. All the food is grown in front of the house. My favorite dish is tartar made with rig beef and processed fish from Lake Luman.

I will say that it wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it. Because the menu is a surprise and changes depending on available ingredients, but the pairings of wine and food, the ingredients. What an amazing experience! I highly recommend this restaurant! We were hiking there. I grabbed a ring and saw the menu for the hotels restaurant. My wife thought the salad with the fish was tasty, so on the way back we stopped for dinner. All I can say is amazing! We talked with the staff and they told us about the menu or we could go with the surprise, a 5 or 9 course chef choice.

Please note that the hotel is located on a car-free mountain and can only be reached by public transport. The Staffelhöhe Train Station of the Rigi Railway, which starts at Vitznau, is right next to the hotel. It can also be reached by cable car from Weggis (with a change at Rigi Kaltbad), followed by a 15-minute walk. Parking is available at the valley stations of the railway line and the cable car.Please note that the restaurants are closed on Mondays. Half board, snacks or fondue are available upon request.
