George • Solo Trip

The room itself was new and clean as the hotel looks to have been renovated very recently. The problems began when I noticed another name for the hotel which confused me. When I got to the floor, two other guests were having issues checking in. The machine wasn't recognizing our booking numbers and one guest spent most of his time on the phone with customer service trying to help us all out. I was told I was given one room, but then another guest checked into that room. After another call thanks to the other guest, I was told my room had been switched to another one. The other guest had to hunt down the housekeeper to ask for my room key. This wasted almost a half hour of my time and I did not want to run late for an event I had that night. That random guest wound up being more helpful than the actual staff. The only saving grace was the room. If this is how this establishment is run I will not be staying here again.
