Its approx. 30 minute walk into the main part of the city. I hired a moped for the few days I was there(150BHT a day), well worth it. A lot more freedom to go and explore. Apartment was very modern and very clean. Location is a little out the way of the main areas, but for the price. You will not beat the cleanliness and the tranquil surrounds. Great little place to relax for a few days. Definitely stay again if back in Chiang Rai.

Meesuk residence was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at during our budget trip. + The staff are the nicest people you and meet in all of Thailand whom will help you with anything. They helped us get the cheapest deals for everything including laundry and scooter rentals. (They dont yet have any signs saying that they provide these services but all you need to do is ask) + Rooms are in immaculate condition, as the hotel is newly built so the rooms are filled with the most modern features and the still lingering new room smell. Best of all the internet was the fastest with no drop outs (a real problem in most of our past hotels) + The hotel is located in a nice quiet area not too far out of the city (although due to its new establishment most tuktuks and delivery services dont know the hotel so be sure save the hotel number to give drivers) (tuktuks will also try to get the most out of by saying its out of the city so be ready to bargin) We didnt have much problems as we rented a scooter and were able to move around with ease. Will definetly recommend this hotel to all.

I'll speak about this hotel for the first time this time on October 13 th, it is the best hotel in Chiang Rai at a low price, calm and not far from the city! With my family, I spent 2 nights here! Very clean, and the staff and housekeeper are very helpful and pleasant. A business arranges taxis 24 hours a day and by meters, you can call this call center number for reservation and wait for 1015 minutes, 053601622. Get a cash card app for 2017. 0103? 600! I stayed at this place for my first night. This place has a great location, cleanliness of the room is good, and there is free wifi available. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast and no elevator.

I will definitely stay here again in the near future. I stayed in meek residence on February 25, 2015. My Thai friend recommended meek residence as it was new and convenient to drive around Chiang Rai. The receptionist uncle was friendly and attentive. Wifi was strong and efficient, the room was very clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. The shower water pressure is strong and t. I. Comes with channel news Asia. Free parking and night security inside my meek residence compound.

Luckily I have a nice accommodation. Definitely worth a night. Hello from the lifestyle strategist. Ive stayed here before. This place is really good. However, there are some minor things that let me down, otherwise it would get 2 more stars. There is no English. The Prince Harry wedding was on, but not one channel. I travel for business, so although the room is big enough, I can place a basic desk in the corner. Moreover, it has a typical hard bed. This place is a pleasant place overall. Friendly personnel. This is a brand new hotel. It's in a good location, but not a place to walk, it's better if you have a motorcycle or car. The room is very clean. I had a good night's sleep here because the place is quiet and the bed is comfortable. The price is reasonable.

It's super not convenient!!! Very far from the center city!!! And no more bus or song tiaw... You just can call the taxi that's very expensive... And the staff can not speak English...no tour suggestion no breakfast...btw the room is clean enough

I did choose this place based on the other travelers comments which did sound quite good. unfortunately the only thing that I experienced which did match with the other comments was the cleanliness of the room. For the rest, it was an horrible stay that I did need to end after one night. ...being helped with the unfriendly and unethical staffs and owners. In short this place do not like foreigner and they let you know it if you have the guts ask for anything. I did ask why the do advertise that they have international TV channels and after hours of trying they come to the conclusion that National Geography Channel is enough to advertise as international channel provider.....and if you are not happy...just go ...we are Thai and out Thai customers don't have any issues with this....just go now It is a shame as other reviews did mention the place us new and clean....maybe they shouldn't put their place on international website if they don't want to welcome foreigner.... By the way I do live in Asia for many years and know the do and don't. ...so not a foreigner without local culture awareness.
