Insgesamt war das Hotel für den Preis ganz gut. Man sollte natürlich nicht so viel erwarten. Aber Klimaanlage hat funktioniert, Bett war bequem, Dusche hat funktioniert.

It had been a while since I had traveled on my own and from the moment I stepped into the Historial Hotel (now called Ottoman Hotel), I felt right at home. It is located in very convenient and central street in Sultanahmet (the historical heart of Istanbul) and it has a nice mix of locals and tourists alike. The rooms are quaint and if you grab a double room, you get a little balcony where you can witness all the wonderful street activity or have the sun splash & warm your face in the morning. The roof is equipped with an amazing terrace where you can see this magnificent city in full and hear the beautiful Azan call to prayer throughout the day, it's a very spiritual experience. Besides the great logistics of the hotel, the staff is what gives this place authenticity and heart. They are warm, welcoming, and generous. They offer their hearts and open your mind to all the possibilities of this beautiful Middle Eastern / European culture and really share the best of what they have to offer. I felt like I was at home with Sevim, Engin, Saadiq, and Ibrahim - we sat together, we laughed together, we learned from one another, and they reminded me of all the beauty that there is in the Middle East and its people - a region with troubles, but with people who have deep hearts and wise words. Stay here and you'll have found a home and a family in Istanbul, I know I did :-). I left Istanbul full of life and love, thank you.

Location is excellent for those tourists who like walking distaces for more attractive places.A lot of amenites are available very close to hotel. staff is very disciplene. price is very reasonable. Very peacefull. Owner have good control over staff. Staff can also speak some what english language. May be you have to remind for room service. But this is excellent hotel.

you have to used to see hotels in this area unclean before you stay don't tolerate they will clean and take care of you. The owner is not tolerant with any mistake which is very good Room amenities are modern and new Sometimes they put singles with families where noisy and disturb till midnight Overall very good comparing to value of money

Hotel mengambil pembayaran untuk menginap. Namun, ketika kami tiba di sana, mereka mengatakan bahwa hotel tersebut tidak buka dan kami harus check-in ke hotel tetangga di tingkat yang lebih rendah. Dari mana kami pindah, hotel menolak untuk mengembalikan uang tersebut. Secara keseluruhan, hotel ini adalah penipuan.

Kami tinggal di hotel dari 19 April hingga 23 April 2021. Hotelnya budget, padahal kami cari harga segitu. Sangat cocok untuk wisatawan sederhana yang hanya butuh menginap. Bagi wisatawan muda karena turun atau mendaki dari atau hotel ke alun-alun. Beazit dan tremnya cukup curam, jika Anda juga membawa barang bawaan. Tapi lokasi hotelnya sendiri lumayan, dekat banget dengan tempat wisata yang diumumkan di website. Hotel ini sangat kecil di kawasan kota yang sangat tua. Ada lift kecil untuk 2 penumpang. Kami memiliki kamar di lantai dua yang menghadap ke jalan dan itu sangat bising di sore dan malam hari. Jika Anda menginap di hotel ini, mintalah kamar yang menghadap ke halaman, Anda akan bisa melihat atap rumah tetangga dan pemandangan Laut Marmara yang indah. Kamarnya sangat kecil. Wi-Fi ada di kamar karena kamar kami berada di lantai 2 tepat di resepsionis, tetapi sinyal terkadang tidak terlalu kuat. Cukup untuk korespondensi, terkadang trafik untuk pengiriman foto tidak mencukupi. Kamar memiliki lemari es kecil yang berfungsi, AC (kami tidak menggunakannya), TV plasma kecil (kami tidak menggunakannya), tetapi tetangga di balik tembok bekerja di malam hari, kemampuan mendengar sangat baik. Pengering rambut berfungsi di kamar mandi, air panas. Lokasi soket yang sangat tidak nyaman untuk mengisi daya perangkat. Mereka hanya memberi kami satu handuk besar, baik untuk wajah maupun kaki. Meskipun resepsionisnya ramah, namun saat kami masuk ke kamar 2 x 2 terdapat kecoa dan jendela tidak ditutup. Kami telah melakukan reservasi untuk tiga orang dan mereka berencana untuk menempatkan putri kami sendirian di kamar yang hanya memiliki tempat tidur. Kekecewaan langsung. Kami tidak menginap di sana.
