The hotel diplomat is without a doubt one of the most spectacular sights in Impala, and we couldn't have been in a better location for seeing the fireworks that welcomed the new year, 2019. The positive news is that a group of young entrepreneurs have set up a bar in partnership with the hotel, ensuring that the hotel's viewing terrace is actually an active place! They were literally a little over a week before the new year and the paint was still drying in places, but I admired their approach to keeping customers at the center and wish them the best of luck with their endeavor. Hotel customers receive a lot of difficulty. When I came to check on the new year's plans, we sat at a table expecting to drink, but no one came. This has always been the problem with the hotel diplomat's fantastic view, fantastic potential, but horrible follow-through. Hopefully, the patio bar boys will eventually be able to tour the entire establishment! I will most certainly return to the bar to watch the sunrise over Impala.

This place has the most incredible view of the Impala. A wonderful sunset and youll see thousands and thousands of iron roofs, dust, light, cars, and people down there. The place has hardly any service, but youll get what you need while enjoying the view.

I stayed here from June 2017 till July 2017. The hotel was friendly but the service was ineffective overall. No hot water, no hot shower and the water was cold. I think breakfast had to be found on the first day!
