You get what you pay for. Albany Hotel is a budget hotel so I didn’t have high expectations. I was happy with my room and the parking which is available at the back. Very helpful staff as well.

Parking was behind the hotel at £15 for 24hrs,rooms need an upgrade, but ok to sleep in,carpets in room 222 were worn, windows need desperate attention due to cracked pane and also sash cord broken, toilet bowl needs lots of lime scale attention and shower was leaking at the shower head, was reported when we checked out.

Chambre un peu desuette mais spacieuse. Parking et commetces à proximité. Rapport qualite prix imbattable dans une station balnéaire.

Really pleasant little hotel. Massive room. Was clean & had lots of extras including toiletries. Yes it's dated, & a bit ragged around the edges, but charming none the less & good value. Reception staff were excellent. Really friendly, helpful & full of smiles. Good location for Hove shops & beach - Regular buses go from stops just a few minutes walk way to Brighton town/station/marina etc.

A warm welcome. The hotel has obviously been recently refurbished, and very clean. The ensuite bathroom needs the same attention. I was fearful of using the shower as it is very basic (a curtain to be pulled round a bar over the bath) and insecure, and the bath needs re enameling. No bedside lamp means having to get up to switch off the light. However, I should emphasise that I think it is really good value for money. Great for one or two nights.

Great location, very near sea front, pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. On-site car parking is a real plus! Room was clean and tidy, but a little bit dilapidated - curtains worn (difficult to open/close) and no plug in bathroom hand basin. Overall, good value room for an overnight stay, but clearly scope to improve in a few areas.

Hotel was good for the price. Mattress wasn't overly comfortable, shower wasn't very good, one of the lights wasn't working. Wasn't there all that much so these issues weren't that inconvenient. I'd stay there again for the value for money.

Booked a ground floor room as difficulties with stairs. Not available when i arrived. So had to struggle to 1st floor.
