Lovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time at Ambleside Central. We did struggle with the entrance keypad however after popping into the Lily Bar next door, someone came to our rescue (thank you!) It was central which was perfect for us as we were there to cheer on a friend who was running the Lakes 100. Room was clean and welcoming, we were in room 10 which was on the top floor. The only downside was the stairs to get there and the heat in the room, unfortunately the window wouldn't stay open and the fan did very little. But as we only came in on an evening, it wasn't an issue for us. Room was cosy and comfortable, we had a bathroom in our room and the shower was powerful and welcome after trekking round the hills. All in all 10/10 stay and we would return, albeit after booking directly and requesting a room on a lower floor. But for the price we paid and the condition of the property we found it faultless.

we loved our stay here. the staff are really helpful and friendly.we loved it so much we booked an extra night!! Parking is a little difficult as the hotel car park is a 5 minute walk from the hotel

Brak recepcji sprawia, że klucze odbiera się obok w pubie, co niczemu nie przeszkadza, a na koniec pobytu wrzuca się je do specjalnie przygotowanej skrzynki w korytarzu. Jak sama nazwa mówi, położony jest centralnie, czysty, pokój i łazienka były przestrzenne i przytulne.

Check in very easy, room was perfect for our stay , great location. The room was comfortable, clean and things like the shower gel and tea/ hot chocolate was replenished regularly which was good. Would certainly recommend and would stay there again.

Great central location, rooms a lot neater and tidier than the hallway appears! Clean and really quaint. Check in is next door at a restaurant/bar but no issues at all. Highly recommend.

Just a room with an en-suite . It was clean and tidy . The room was fine and it was very central. Tea and coffee in the room which was nice. I think it was worth the money

Self check instructions were clear. Room was serviced while we were out. Help via the phone was immediate when we needed it. Room clean and spacious. All very good. Only downside was that car park was a good 5-8 minute walk away… but at least there was parking as opposed to there being none. Needed window open as warm weather but that lead to noise disturbance. Of course that was due to fabulous central location - I realise you can’t have central and quiet! I’d stay again, thank you.

This was a great pad for us to use while walking around the lakes. No aircon meant sweaty nights in a family room, but the room was fine, seperate but private bathroom. Great location.
