We had a great time staying at Aurora I, jane was a lovely host, the location is ideal if you are taking the nc 500, and the breakfast was plentiful! When we came to Aurora, we were greeted by Jane, who was absolutely fantastic! We were given refreshments, including some homemade goods, while sat in the sunroom. We spoke with Jane about the be, and she graciously gave us a choice of accommodations because one of them was full when we remained. The bathrooms were very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms included fresh water and tea and coffee-making facilities. Jane took it all in the evening when we went to the band for supper on Thursday. We had the best time in the aurora i, with jane's welcoming host. When we woke up, we selected items from a wide variety that were then prepared to order. The janes' homemade bread was excellent!

We are looking forward to returning as it's an excellent starting point for the Orkney ferries. Jane and Richard, our great hosts, welcomed us warmly and made us feel quite welcome. I stayed in a very comfortable and spacious room with ensure shower and teaming facilities, and we enjoyed sitting in the lovely sunroom with a view of the garden. Breakfast was superb, with unusual delicious additions to traditional Scottish breakfasts. This location is ideal for exploring the area, with beautiful beaches and stunning coastline. We enjoyed our visit to the local rock rose gin distillery and the walk back along the beach.

We stayed at Aurora for three nights while running the North Coast 500, and while we stayed at some excellent Is, this one was the best. From the moment we arrived until we left, Richard and Jane made us feel very welcome. The property is comfortable, with a roomy bedroom and bathroom, and the breakfasts are excellent with something to suit all tastes and appetites, but the thing that sets this place apart is the hosts. Richard and Jane have made this a must-visit hotel on the nc 500 route after being up and running for a relatively short time. We will recommend it to anyone we know who is in the Thurs..

Before our trip to Orkney, we had a wonderful one-night stay at Aurora. Jane richard was incredibly friendly and helpful, and jane even reserved a table at a nearby eatery! The room was spacious, with a large, safe bathroom, and the breakfast was large and delicious. My youngest particularly enjoyed the two dogs and the demonstration of the small steam engine! We cannot express how much we value this location. My thanks to the Powell family.

Our stay at the Aurora I was great, in general, Richard and Jane were the ideal hosts and very welcoming, and we also purchased a few lovely janes' handmade candles before we left. At the Aurora, we were so wonderful, our partner and I stayed at it for a few nights. Richard and Jane are very knowledgeable of all the local attractions. It is in the ideal location for all the local attractions. They told us we would arrive later than 7 oclock to check in because we were on our way late because of traffic. When we arrived, Jane was understanding and kind about it. She offered us a hot drink, some homemade walnut cake, and shortbread, then showed us to our room. After that, we sat down and had a break in, then we enjoyed the afternoon refreshments in the sunroom. We stayed in the ground-floor Sydney room, which had a huge bed and a private bathroom with a shower. There was tea and coffee in the room, as well as wine glasses and fresh water. We had a delicious, complete Scottish breakfast on our first morning, and on our second, we had the kale, tomatoes, feta cheese, and poached eggs on homemade wholemeal bread, which was delicious.
