For a special birthday weekend for my wife, we had reserved 9 rooms for our 14 friends at the Badshah. Both the lodge and the hall were available. Everyone gave excellent feedback. The entire team was blown away by the quality of each room, the attention to detail, and some of the distant views. Special thanks to Carol for helping us with the booking details and Linda and the other housekeeping staff for their assistance in providing such beautiful rooms. We were able to use the halls larger rooms and amenities, which were all very lovely. Badshah Hall is located close to downtown Maxwell and is in a superb location with some magnificent views of the town. The personnel and badshah can't be more excellent. A wonderful weekend.

I have a friend who is very helpful and polite. Our room was just outside the car park entrance, so it was simple to take the dogs out for a walk in the evening. Breakfast must be ordered 24 hours in advance and is provided in your room, but it is really good value for money much better and cheaper than you would find in town. The location is great, a little hike up a hill can be difficult for those with mobility or health issues, but goodbye is very small, so a walk from Badshah to the opposite side of town is not more than 10 minutes.

Excellent staff, especially Sammy, who checked us in and out 5 minutes walk from Farewell town, and the breakfast that you get in the room, was so lovely.

We hope to return to Badshah Hall soon. When Georgina showed us to our room, we were given a very pleasant and friendly greeting and we had a wonderful weekend in the Vernon Suite. On a chilly November evening, the kitchen area was excellently equipped, and the entire suite was roomy, well-lit, and immaculate. The breakfast was not planned, but we will definitely eat it the following time we stay because it smelled really good as we exited our room. If you want to, the kitchen area is certainly nicely equipped to make your own breakfast.

I had a fantastic 2-night stay at this hotel during the Christmas market in the town. The rooms are amazing and well-equipped and have everything you need, the breakfast is also worth the price and the value for money.
