Stayed for 5 nights, have stayed before. Guesthouse 2 minute walk to front. Room had small fridge and microwave which was ideal for me, was advised private bathroom but was sharing with 2 others, not happy about that but otherwise a lovely stay. Marina very helpful on arrival and chatty throughout stay. I would return.

All good. Didn't see Marina much during my stay because of covid but she was always polite and welcoming when I did see her. Even when I showed up a tad inbrieated at 11pm to check in. Room was great. I'm hard to dissapoint. As long as I have a bed, toilet, shower and some plug sockets I'm good to go. I will be back!

Good cheap B&B in Paignton. The room was pretty small, but that was reflected in the price. Only a couple of hundred metres from the beach and pier, and a similar distance from the train and bus stations. Good breakfast, friendly owners. At the time I stayed, May 2018, it was up for sale, so if this is quite an old review by the time you see it then you might want to give more weight to more recent reviews - every owner puts their own mark on a place, and it might change for better or worse under new ownership.

Excellent B&B in a great location and the owners are very friendly and helpful, very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast sat right by the window for a great view. 2 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to public transport. Can't wait to visit again.

very nice people run the place. clean and close to beach and train/bus station. a lot to do here. hotel is a little bit crowded at times, but rates are good and you can leave order for breakfast brought to the room. for budget stay it is good - for families or singles.

Een zeer gezellig en huiselijke B&B. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, propere kamers met alle basiscomfort aanwezig. Heerlijk ontbijt in huiselijke sfeer. Prijs/Kwaliteit is zeer geslaagd!!! De ligging is ideaal om de engelse riviera te ontdekken. Strand, haven met ferry naar Brixham of Thorquay, treinstation, busstation, winkels, alles op wandelafstand. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Marina runs the guest house, which has everything you need right outside the door. The beach, pier, train station, bus stop, bars, pubs, souvenir shops, cakes, etc. I came up from London and only walked to the guesthouse in minutes. Also, the host is so helpful.

When I left the previous guest in the room, I left a sock, the fan remote didn't work, and some of the slats on the bed were broken. The carpet in the shared area may be cleaned better, the price is still affordable and in a good location. Friendly host.

The rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable beds, and the location is excellent. There is plenty of room in the room 7, which can be used as a family of 5 and has a fridge and a stove. There is no parking available, but you can pay 3 per day at the hotel that is a 2-minute walk away and in front.

The place is very nice and quiet, with a multilevel car park just to the left of the guest house although not the most secure car park, and the host was very warm and welcoming, so we just reserved a place to freshen up and sleep, so this place was perfect for what we needed.

3 weeks before when Marina made our reservation for August. It was agreed to be paid for, albeit we did call closer to the day we were due to travel and requested that we leave our luggage at the guesthouse before check-in time. Using a form sent to us prior to the day we were due to travel, we requested to leave our luggage at the guesthouse before check-in time. We said the day of the reservation, and Marina agreed to allow us to leave our luggage. We claimed the booking was obviously for the with, but despite our notice that there is always someone available, went swimming, etc. with the children and received a phone call from Marina asking for payment for the with! After trying to check all bed and breakfast websites with the kids around, we were advised that the booking was clearly for the with, but when we were stranded with children outside the watermark and a suitcase over the other side of Paignton, we were informed it was our mistake. We checked all bed and breakfast sites with the children watching and everything was fully booked. I walk to the premier inn and saw an email confirming we had to make a booking that evening, it took them to 100 capacity as being the last two rooms available, I get the email from marina, but we are told we decided to come a day early for our own use. It's quite strange to leave a family in this

Guest house is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the station, town centre shops and seafront yet situated on a quiet back street, room was on the top floor with no lift, small but great value for the budget traveller and with very friendly hosts.

We had a very nice stay at this guesthouse, perfect location for the beach/seafront and the multi storey car park. Close to the town for shopping and a handy stroll from the harbour. It’s clean, has all of the facilities I’d look for, plus more (e.g. fridge freezer, microwave). I’d definitely come back.

Guest house was great value, perfect location & friendly welcome. Within walking distance of train station, sea front, pier & entertainment. Good bus route for Zoo & visiting other areas such as Torquay. There was lots on locally including a funfair, entertainment, which was ideal for children. Due to the cheap price, we weren't expecting a premium room however it was looking a little tired and dusty in areas & could do with a freshen up. There is a local multi storey car park nearby however at night it appears to be a gathering point for local youth's, which was quite noisy early hours. Could have been a one off however.

Loved this Guest House. The new owner (April 2019) Marina is a perfect host & is making improvements on the property, very helpful and also in assisting you to your every need. The Guest House is perfectly situated within Paignton. 3 mins walk to the Beach/Pier, 2/3 mins walk to Paignton main high street, 4 min walk to Paignton Train/Bus station. Will definitely be staying again. Wishing Marina & her Son Louis every success with The Brampton Guest House 😄

Needed a quick stopover. I had a room which shared a bathroom with 2 others, didn't bother me though. This was inexpensive, clean and had breakfast thrown in too.

When i arrived.my room was ready earlier than stated.had a free upgrade as the room i booked had a leak in bathroom.but unfortunately i went to make a brew.everything was there.tea,coffee,sugar,cups & spoons.but unfortunately no milk! The room hadn't been hoovered.the bathroom was disgusting.i had a shower & stood in own water.as shower trap not cleaned out so was blocked.the shower screen was black.the tv kept losing signal.especially netflix.the tv screen was dirty.the light above the mirror didn't work.bed was uncomfortable as there was a broken bed slat.as i could see as i looked under bed.the bedding had marks on.i used to be a housekeeper but that is the worst place I've ever seen & stayed in.
