My daughter's wedding reception was held here. Everything was perfectly planned for her. Beautiful rooms with breakfast included. Friendly waiters. Huge, comfortable beds. The reception area is nicely decorated and then cleared for the evening disco. Anyone who wants to hold a reception in this area should do it immediately.

In the past six months, Ive stayed here three or four times, and each time the hotel room stays and breakfast are excellent. The room has been kept clean to a high standard, fully furnished, and a good size this time. I had an app for the meal I ordered in the garden. Both my hamburger and chips were significantly overcooked when they arrived. A very dry burger and hard chips. Disappointed and even more so given the 16.99 price of burger and chips. Nevertheless, I will not eat here at dinner in the evening. The odd part is that I consistently find cooked breakfast here.. Ive stayed here three or four times over the past six months, and each time the breakfast and hotel room stay have been excellent. This latest stay, the room has been kept to a high standard, spotless, wellequipped, and of adequate size. I chose to eat in the garden and placed a meal. Both came and were significantly overcooked. I ordered a burger and chips, and both arrived. A very dry burger and hard chips, disappointed and more so considering the 16p price for the burger and chips. Ill return but wont eat here in the evening.

We found this pub on a dog friendly website and decided to visit after a long walk with our dog nearby at Scadbury Park. Dogs are welcome at the bar but we chose to sit in the beer garden which is really beautiful with twinkling light booths, tables with fire pits etc. The beer garden is sort of detached from the bar itself and has its own drinks service area.
