Lovely staff, large rooms, comfortable and clean beds, great atmosphere in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the sites. I’d happily stay there again, although the great atmosphere does mean it’s a bit dated, there are lots of stairs and the elevator wasn’t working when I was there. Food was great and lots of restaurants are close by, the breakfast will keep you going and there are vegetarian options. If you have not visited Armagh, seat of both the Catholic and Church of Ireland bishops, each with an amazing cathedral, not to mention the Armagh Observatory, it is a must visit location in beautiful Northern Ireland.

On entering hotel we were greated with a very warm welcome, even the fact that i called hotel to say i was a bit lost, a lovely lady came out and waved so we could see her, rooms were neat and tidy, staff very friendly and even secured a table for us for evening meal, breakfast was great, first time to stay but would stay again 5 stars from us

Great sized room, excellent breakfast and lovely meals. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. Great place to stay if you have young children or babies as they are also very well catered for. Hotel is very close to Armagh centre.

Enjoyed an overnight stay at the Charlemont Arms. Friendly & helpful staff from the first to last minutes there. I had a spacious room with a bath. The Indian restaurant just a minutes walk up the street was excellent. My quiet night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed was followed by a cooked to order breakfast - high passing my poached eggs scale with high marks!!
