The Counting house was in a great location. We were in walking distance of many markets, sights and transportation. Our room was clean and the heat and air worked well. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with our room with a set menu and/or buffet station. Coffee and tea maker in room with a small fridge. Ate in pub twice and food was good. There is a small lift, two people two suitcases size. And depending on your room, a couple of stairs in between the lift and room. We stayed in two different rooms before and after cruise and noise was never a problem. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, and centrally located for our trip. Walking to St. Paul’s or to the Tower was easy and comfortable for a 70 plus aged couple. The hotels pub for drinking and dining options were very good , along with the choice of the breakfast buffet or a menu order.

Great stay! Adorable little hotel with friendly staff who permitted us to check in quite early to sleep off our jet lag :) lovely beautiful pub downstairs with good food and great beer. Friendly staff. Lively neighborhood. Walking distance to almost everything. Near good public transportation. Would stay here again!

Very clean, comfortable room with complimentary drinks. The front desk and pub staff were helpful and friendly, very accommodating. The breakfast was very good (I didn’t try the other food or alcohol as I don’t drink). Great location, walking distance to many sights, the Thames, and the underground tube. I highly recommend this hotel!

Location 5 minute walk from Liverpool St Station so very convenient. Small rooms but clean, well insulated and cosy with everything you need. Breakfast downstairs in the Weatherspoons was great - I had a full English every day of my stay. Once you get past eating in a pub at 7am it is totally fine! The staff were excellent and extremely accomodating- I loved rooms - no issues. Had an issue with my TV - fixed straight away. I really couldn’t fault this place. Great internet which helped as I had to work whilst I was in the room. Also didn’t hear any noise from the pub downstairs either.

Ideal for the city area. Walkable to attractions like the Sky garden, not too far from At Paul's and an easy walk to the Tower of London. Lovely old converted bank. Good size rooms for London. Cooked breakfast was excellent, but the continental breakfast was disappointing.
