It's good value for money. The hotel is big with comfortable bed. However, the cleanliness in the rooms needs to improve. There was a lot of dust on the furniture and bedside tables, and in the bathroom.

Hotel is being renovated at moment so rooms are basic but was in right location to visit o2 academy . Check in guy was lovely, car park aswell so suited our needs for one night.

A lovely, warm welcome from Vijay... A beautiful Victorian guest house, under renovation (this did not interupt my stay). The room was clean, very comfortable bed, furniture was purposeful, excellent hot shower. Breakfast is not offered at the time of writing this review. One minor glitch with an over powering and nauseating smell of cigarettes in the bathroom.... Staff were very keen to rectify with air freshner, but despite keeping the window open all day and night, the smell didn't disappear - No fault of the staff at all. I had a very good night's sleep... I would visit again... I recommend a visit to the museum and sampling the range of culinary delights in the London Road restaurants..... 😀 😋

I mainly chose it for its proximity to Leicester University, where I needed to be. Reasonable price, basic but satisfactory, certainly for the one night I stayed. It's an old building so the plumbing sounds a bit antiquated!

Being renovated which is desperately required. However, it was clean and beds were comfortable. It was also quiet. For the price, i was quite happy.

The hotel was in the midst of re-decoration and so I'm sure it will look a lot better when it is finished. The stairs and carpet are definitely in need of it. The rooms are basic but functional. Shower and toilet worked fine. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. Convenient for visiting university. Parking was free, but some spaces have to be vacated by 08:30 as they are then reserved for the dental surgery next door.

No frills lodging in a once grander building. More for contractors rather than honeymooners, but this is fairly reflected in the pricing. On site parking, friendly service by owner/occupier, and improvement works in evidence, for what I paid it’s what I expected. Fair sums it up, with scope to enhance.

I've spent & slept just a night but the organization was nice, I've really appreciated how was comfortable my bedroom, a little bit old but the bed was comfy, the shower aswell. The breakfast was good, the classical english-one.

Hotel was in need of a restoration which I think had started as there was a full skip outside. Overall though would stay again staff friendly.

Service was good, the hotel is in the process of being worked on, the tiles and floor weren’t fixed or flat the door wouldn’t close properly and there were lights that didn’t work hopefully they get this all fixed soon

No heating, water off when arrived, the wardrobe was 4pieces of chipboard with a rail, mould in bathroom plus floor tiles missing old bar of soap on the floor by sink, Draws not sure if I touched them they would stay standing, waking up cold was no fun, there was washing drying on landing
