The hotel was very clean and the staff welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel located just 4 minutes from the Pleasure Beach which was even better, as during our stay it rained constantly, which enabled us to pop back to the hotel for a cuppa and to dry out a few times!

Very friendly staff. Great location right by South Pier, Water park and Pleasure beach. Andrew was very helpful and shuffled rooms around to allow us to stay an additional night at short notice. Not even a late night fire alarm could dampen our stay.

Disappointed • Family Trip

We didn't stay here although first impressions looked great though When we arrived we were told that HOTELS.COM had only sent the request to them the day before, when we actually booked it weeks ago. Therefore they didn't have a room for us. However the owner was very lovely and made arrangements for us to stay elsewhere, bless him. Very kind

We have just returned from a great two-night vacation. There were 2 adults and 2 and 9-year-olds. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and they had outstanding facilities, so we will definitely stay again. Excellent breakfast selection as well, excellent location. We stayed on the ground floor because of the kids, a fantastic location, somewhat small for the four of us with all our luggage, but comfortably enough for two nights.

The staff is very friendly and considerate. The breakfast was excellently prepared and served with a bottle of milk and a bottle of orange juice on each table as well as a basket of cereal. This is a great hotel from start to finish. The front doors are locked, so knowing that there are small children in the group was a relief knowing that they could not leave or that anyone else who was staying there could. Our room was a good size and was very clean. There is a small table to sit at, a decent size fridge, and a good size refrigerator, which we didn't require because we stayed only one night. There is a bar with a good variety of amenities and a games room. There were some children there, but all the employees made them feel very welcome.

I will stay again. Nice little bar for pints. I stay with my two sons 12, 15 and 15. Very convenient to pleasure beach and south pier. Bar well stocked and not rip off prices.

During the summer vacation, I stayed one night. We got there quickly because of their assistance. The ground-floor room was lovely, spotless, roomy, and easily accessible with the stroller. Unfortunately, the room's windows overlooked the sunroomlobby area, allowing anyone sitting there to see into our room. For our own security, we needed to keep curtains and windows open all the time. Excellent hotel amenities. Breakfast has an uphill battle! Breakfast was predetermined as starting at eight in the morning, according to a representative who lived in two groups. There was only one woman serving two rooms when we arrived at an appropriate hour of eight. We were waited extremely long for our food. Not great when you have young children. The poor woman was doing her best but struggled to keep up. In particular, I was waiting for coffee, but there was no milk, and my coffee was cold by the time milk appeared. I couldnt have breakfast with toast because I had had it served so far. However, when it did arrive, it was delicious food. I will stay again, if you can add an extra employee during breakfast during the busy times.

With a partner and a year-old son, we had a fantastic holiday in Blackpool. We always stay at the Danescourt hotel on station road. It's always interesting to see the staff. We also met the new manager Scott, who is amazing, as they are all already booked for next year. We didn't want to come home.

I have three small children and I wanted everything close by. Takeaways and shops opposite the hotel. The room was nice and clean with a working tv with loads of channels. Kids loved the bunk bed. Toilet was a bit small but not an issue. Plenty of storage space for our clothes etc. Will stay again.
