This is our second visit to the Fox and Hungry. We enjoyed our stay once more. The rooms and pub are slightly old, but it is just part of the charm. The street outside can get busy, so the front facing rooms can be a little noisy at times. The food is nice and well presented and cooked, although it is not highend. Breakfast is lovely with delicious homemade marmalade, the pub and rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful, the price is fair and the beds are comfortable.

I stayed here for two nights. The neighboring pub staff was so friendly. They have wifi and plugs for laptops. There are nice views and hiking possibilities here.

I stayed there for a night on Sunday, I arrived on lunchtime. The room was very nice and well-appointed, I had a wonderful evening meal, everyone was very friendly, the walks from the pub are endless and beautiful, the real Dartmoor, the beds were full of goodness and I slept soundly. Breakfast in the morning was again beautiful, all in all, I will come back and enjoy Dartmoor.

We had dinner with 3 people, and it was delicious. The food was very good and also good value for money. But the staff was really helpful and friendly.

The soundproofing of the bunk bed was terrible, even though it was good. The food in this restaurant was delicious and the staff was friendly. It's like having a pool table that everyone can play on.
