Our short stay in July 2026 was a good experience with Hilton. The Hotel position in town of Edinburgh was great and enabled us to sometimes walk or bus into the main area. We were going to see a concert of James Taylor at the Castle on one of the nights and had two other full days to explore Edinburgh's shops and sights. Bus stop only yards away. We were fortunate enough to get parking for the duration of our stay as I have a Blue Badge, but I see from other reviews it's not always guaranteed. Room was big enough for our needs(twin room) and very airy and clean when we arrived! All staff were very pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed our breakfasts. There was plenty of choice in cooked or non cooked, can't agree with others in reviews who moaned about lack of choice!(previous experience of places like Premier/Travelodge etc have sometimes left us wanting. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would use this and other Hilton Hotels elsewhere.

Room was spotless, Staff were very friendly and helpful, a good variety at breakfast my niece enjoyed the waffles. The bar was also great. The gym is basic but managed some cardio and weights. For parking it does cost £16 a day but most hotels now charge. Park at front of hotel and speak to reception who will give a code and you will be directed to parking. Takes about 20 min to get to the shopping area or take the bus which stops more or less outside hotel. We would definitely recommend staying and we will be back.

This is a really nice hotel that is close-ish to the sites of Edinburgh. The staff was friendly, the room was very nice. There are more centrally located hotels, but they are much more expensive. Breakfast was very good.

overall, I had good experience at the hotel. Everything was satisfactory, but the only issue was that there just 2 lifts ( one was not working at that time )which could be inconvenient, especially during busy times.

This is our go to hotel when we visit Edinburgh. Very clean, close to the city and the staff very friendly. The only slight blip is the breakfast. The quality of food is excellent but it is stated that breakfast is on until 10.00 weekdays but you may find a lot of things are taken away by 9.40 including cereals and cutlery

We had a very good stay. No noise which enabled us to get a good night’s sleep.
