My room (no 3) had been totally renovated and was spotlessly clean. The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was also very satisfactory and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be staying there again and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Had a great stay here. Bonus was the entertainer in the bar area (Jules). Comfy sitting areas around hotel. Bed and pillows comfy with good hot water in shower. Staff were also excellent and very helpful.

We have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if you’re off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staff

Check in was relaxed, cordial, and efficient. The Hotel is well located and close to town and beach. The amenities include entertainment in a spacious bar. Lounges with reading material. Good sized garden. Rooms are functional, with beds being firm, yet comfortable. The restaurant was superb with fast and efficient service catering with a menu that was in keeping with the clientele.

Read horror stories about this hotel with outdated decor etc,yes the decor is a bit dated but the most important thing is the room was clean,the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. Remember if you want 5 star accommodation book a 5 star hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay to all at the Medehamstede.

Great location to walk down to the sea side.The breakfast was terrific. No wifi in the room but down in the lobby, so if you are going to work on your holiday, keep that in mind.....and don't work!
