The location of this hotel is very close to the railway station. This hotel also has a dog park, and is close to Knaresborough. They serve great drinks. The bartender was quite helpful and kind. The food was disappointing as there is a very limited menu and a lot of it is not offered.

Very friendly staff, good food and comfortable bed. Very relaxing weekend away.The only problem was limited parking, but a space was found just outside. Iron and ironing board in the room was good and complimentary toiletries and beverages were also in the room. Made me feel very welcome and all staff were very helpful

When looking for a restaurant, I found this pub which is next to the railway. There are plenty of beers to choose from. The food options were adequate, there were 2 hamburgers with chips that had the skin on. The food was decent but nothing special. Next time, look for another place.

Overall, I wholeheartedly endorse spending money at the Mitre Inn. I recently returned from a one-night stay at the mitre inn, and I can't express how wonderful it was. The crew was accommodating and welcoming, the kitchen was about to close a little early because it had been more than usual packed owing to the wonderful weather wed had, and people were making the most of their day, but the young man who greeted us so sorry did not have his name, called the kitchen staff, and they fitted us in to the meal, which was lovely, I would add. The restroom shower was one of the greatest I have ever experienced in a hotel, and the rooms are incredibly nice, spotless, tastefully furnished, and extremely lovely. There are toiletries and other little restroom necessities provided, and they are exquisite and of good quality. The inn is also very peaceful and quiet, facing the railway station. Breakfast was delicious quality ingredients, superbly cooked, and once again, the breakfast staff was really helpful. The only issue, and after I stayed here, it wasnt as big as I expected, is that there is no designated parking for the inn. As I already mentioned, it wasnt really a problem, as I set the car in a parking lot less than five minutes away and spent four hours on it, enabling us to begin the following morning before breakfast. I

a good place to relax and take in the local atmosphere. Well run, comfortable and friendly accommodation in a central position. The metres close to the train station puts you right in the middle of this beautiful and fascinating town, with the high street, riverside, and market square all close at hand. The helpful and efficient Mitre staff attend to everything necessary, and the rooms are well equipped and cosy.
