The location is strategic. The landlord is a kind and helpful man. We booked this place last minute because we were going to a concert in Scarborough. The landlord gives us the option to park your car in the parking lot. What a find. The service was so good. We enjoyed a delicious meal and a few lovely pints before the concert. We were due to stay two nights but when we came back home we never got to thank him for the kind service he offered us. I will share this wonderful find with my friends. Hopefully we will be back soon with friends.

We decided to travel the east coast and thought the poacher's barn was a great base location. When we arrived, Juliette and Gavin, the staff were very helpful and counted do enough for us nothing was problematic. A decent pub with lots of history, it is clean! Working staff finding time for guest requirements, decent pints and decent pub food, nothing is a problem. Safe parking, three parking lots, and secured motorbike parking. Being a biker myself, you notice these things. 50.00 for a double room in a perfect location, everything you need ticks all boxes. shared bathroom between two rooms was no problem at all, breakfast was no problem there are plenty of places nearby, there is a kettle and tea, coffee, etc. The bar is a welcoming, chilling, secure, and all good old-fashioned characters were real fun. I'm looking forward to being back, I believe halloween will be a blast. Best wishes and good health to you all. We really enjoyed seeing and exploring the east coast last weekend,

I strongly recommend this place, especially if you are in the area. They served a delicious steak that tasted as good. The staff is very friendly, and it is also cozy.

This place is nice, although it's our last day, it's still our choice of wine and beer. And then, the chicken goon was so amazing. After that, it was so exciting that we booked this hotel in the Blue Dolphin hotel for a half day and were greeted with a warm and cheerful attitude by all the staff.

We booked a room in the hotel on a Saturday night and received a very lovely, modern, and immaculate room. We were very pleased with the lodging quality. We intended to spend the night in Scarborough, but the locals, the landlord, and the landlady made us feel very welcome so we remained in the bar all night. We didn't eat, but the food looked delicious. The bar area is very quaint, warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.
