Parked just around the corner. Received a very warm welcome. We walked a couple of minutes and caught the tram straight to the university of Sheffield.

We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again.

Lovely friendly place to stay ,staff were amazing and couldnt be more helpful.Only downfall was they did not do food ,we had a busy schedule and had to go out very early for breakfast ,no private parking but could park on street at side of property also no lifts so no good to people who are disabled

Really enjoyable trip and the staff were incredibly helpful. Very clean and a perfect location in the heart of Hillsborough. The pub downstairs is a really nice establishment as well.

Clean comfortable room above a very friendly pub. Although a couple of miles from the city centre it is on a main road with frequent trams and buses. Great value compared to other hotels in the city.

It's a pub with en-suite rooms so they don't do breakfasts but there is a Morrisons supermarket and a McDonalds nearby so no problem getting food. It's good value for money so I'd happily stay there again if I am in Sheffield.

This is a conveniently positioned accommodation with a helpful owner living on site. It is reasonably priced and near a bus interchange as well as the tram line. That said, the single beds are tiny. I am 5'6 and feet were over the endand it was so narrow I could barely turn over. They need replacing. The en suite was OK, cramped and a small shower, but ok for one night. The exit rules were unusual! You have a key code, exit via the fire escape and through a beer garden which as the pub doesn't open till 2pm was empty.

I felt it was unsafe to leave the property through a fire escape with our daughter. She was scared. Comfy beds and room was lovely. Noise from outside was annoying, trams and cars. But it was weird leaving via the fire escape. It did not feel safe at all.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable, TV signal was very poor so we were unable to watch anything in the evening. For the cost £75 a night it felt over charged given the uncomfortable bed.
