Lovely B&B. Clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Close to Matlock by foot. However, it’s quite on a hill. So not so practical for people with mobility issues.

Lovely, freindly, owners, very helpful. Beautiful veiw, very tasty breakfast, great value for money. Only small pointers are the bath whilst looking amazing was very uncomfortable as was the toilet seat (just personal preference). Also just bare in mind the quadruple room is a standard double and double sofa bed for the kids to share.

We had a lovely stay at The Gables Bed and Breakfast. It's a bit tricky to get to up the narrow lanes and hills (I wouldn't want to try it in the winter when it's a bit icy) but once there the view is fantastic and the couple who run it are really friendly and attentive. We had the suite which had a large double bed and fold out double sofa-bed for the kids. The room was clean and comfortable, with a TV and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was amazing, there is Wi-Fi and you can also use the sitting room to watch a film or relax for a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and I'd highly recommend this B & B

Beautiful place with a stunning view from the terrace. Everywhere was so clean and beautifully decorated. Sue and John were so welcoming and friendly and really helped us out when our taxi didn't turn up to get us to the wedding on time - thanks Chris! Breakfast was also delicious. We will definitely be back again! Thank you
