The Gainsborough Bath Spa, a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property, is centrally located in the heart of Bath, offering an ideal base for exploring the city. Designed by the award-winning Champalimaud Design, the hotel features 99 custom-furnished guestrooms that subtly blend period details with contemporary forms. Each room is equipped with five-star amenities including luxurious bedding, air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an iPod docking station, a minibar, an electric tea pot, a coffee machine, a desk, and a safety deposit box. Private bathrooms feature a shower and/or bath, a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries; bathrobes are available in select rooms. Allergy-free rooms are also offered.
The hotel is home to Spa Village, the only UK spa with access to naturally heated thermal waters, offering a unique hot spring bath experience.
