Very welcome and excellent and friendly service. The pub atmosphere is lively and the food is excellent. Very easy to walk from the pub as it's close to Cartel fell. A beautiful, historical building with tastefully decorated decorations. I will definitely return for a longer stay.

It turned out to be the ideal choice for a birthday meal right before Christmas! Such a charming location and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food was delicious, very tasty, and good size portions. The staff service was great, very attentive and friendly. Thank you for a great night!.

We won't be returning, what a treasure! This place is so beautiful! We will stay at this beautiful cozy country pub and come back in the future. We got a very nice, spotless, cozy room. The bed was really comfy. The food was also delicious, including the delicious soup and delicious fresh vegetables.

What a lovely, atmospheric pub! The atmosphere was lovely because we arrived just before the christmas decorations were over. There are beautiful landscapes around the bar and tables nearby. The staff was also kind and friendly. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the cuisine was delicious.

We made the choice between a city breakChristmas markets and a peaceful retreat in the lakes, and what a choice it was! We went out for a twonight stay on a cloudy, cold night. When we arrived around 8:30 p.m., it was dark, and the outside resembled the front cover of a Christmas travel magazine, this gorgeous century inn. We were led to our room, inquired about our bag transport, and given a fantastic introduction as soon as we entered the room, which had the WOW factor, and was exquisitely decorated the room. The bathroom appeared to be an outstanding piece of artwork, and when we entered the space, it had a wow factor. We were shown to our table, and the service was warm and cordial, well-cared for from start to finish, the food was well presented, and the portions were excellent, as was the selection on the menu. We had three courses, and it was well worth it. The following morning, when we woke up, the countryside was incredibly drenched in a thick blanket of snow. Due to the high level of snow, we chose to walk into Bowness, which you would undoubtedly drive, but I couldnt resist walking in the snow, it was such a wonderful walk, like the title, it felt like stepping into a winter wonderland. After lunch
