I will be back soon. I stayed here for a long time and honestly can't fault it. The owner went above and beyond, we came early and were able to park in the parking lot at the back of the hotel, we were able to leave our luggage in the dining area until the room was ready we went for a walk and came back and our luggage was already taken to our room, the room was clean and tidy, the room had a balcony which was nice to relax with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by and see the sea breakfast, which was cooked to order and delectable. Also, there is a decent selection of cereal and fruit for breakfast, which is also available. This is our first year staying at the same hotel and will not stay anywhere else. Just a short mention to Steve and his daughter, you're doing a fantastic job while emma recovers.

The rooms themselves are all in good condition and some have balconies to enjoy the sea views. All the breakfasts were cooked to order and great. Nothing is too much trouble and we will definitely stay again the next year. The Laurels is a family hotel run by Emma and Steve and the kids when invited. They clearly care and do their best to assist you with every aspect of your stay. We were a men's golf group staying for a three-day comp, meaning we were in and out at different times. Emma couldn't be more accommodating and even offered early bacon sandwiches on a particularly early departure day.

Perfect place to stay. Emma and her daughter were extremely friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the sea. Breakfast was really good and Emma and her daughter went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely come back.

Don't settle for another hotel when you're searching for smugness comfort. We had couid carry-overs from last year as I had received it just two days before my trip, despite canceling through application, Emma rung to let us know we could make a new booking when we were ready. After doing so a year later, we were eager to finally enter smugness. When we arrived, Emma met us in the car park by the back of the hotel, before checking us in early because our room was ready. As well as directions on how to get to the seaview balcony, we were shown to our room. There was also a small fridge with fresh milk in it as well as water bottles. We were also informed that we could bring a drink or two back, as they are not licensed to sell alcohol. The breakfast was amazing, with hot and cold options that met most needs. The hotel is on the ocean front, but it is still relatively remote from the city, so you can get a good night's sleep in a nice bed. Because the hotel is the best place I've ever stayed in, I could go on all day about it. Certainly matches the phrase "home away from home."

I had a wonderful visit once again at the Laurel. Emma is an excellent hostess as usual, and Katie is a great asset when the hotel is busy. They will do anything they can to make your stay comfortable. Nothing too difficult. Breakfast is cooked to order, so fresh and better than nothing. A home away from home for me so I hope to be back soon.
