Beautiful building with outside garden and car park. Couldn’t fault the food, the room, our hosts, nothing was to much trouble. My partner, dog and I had an excellent stay. Will definitely stay again.

Great stay. Lovely room. Superb breakfast, such a shame I have no appetite at the moment thanks to covid, otherwise I would have polished it off, it was so delicious. Just a shame a fellow guest put a lovely scratch in our car door, cheers for that!

The hotel was easy to find with a spacious car park. Checking in was simple.The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The room was very neat and tidy with just the right amount of personal touches without going over the top. The choice of beverages was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable and there was only the occasional bit of road noise, but as we live in a rural area we always tend to notice this. The bar was welcoming and the local ale had a good flavour. We ate in the restaurant which had a varied menu. The food was well cooked and very tasty. The portion size was good. The wine list was also varied and our choice met all expectations. The breakfast again was tasty and also a good portion. The teapot didn't haven't an annoying drip, more common than you would think, and there was also a choice of continental and cold breakfast choices. Would we use the hotel again? Definitely yes, it is ideally placed for local attractions which was our reason for choosing the hotel in the first place.

Staff were really welcoming and astonishingly attentive. The food was great and the hotel, though old and interesting had been modernised very well. We especially liked the imaginative installation of mirrors in the entrance. The menus for evening meal and dinner were very varied and the range of vegan / vegetarian options was really good. The vegan burger (with vegan cheese) was excellent.

Lovely, boutique hotel with wonderful views of the countryside albeit situated on a fairly busy road . However , don’t let this put you off as our room was delightful. A lot of attention to detail has gone into the room which is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and sourced from local produce. Good value considering it was a holiday week

We enjoyed a one night stay with two other couples from across the country, Telford being the mid point! Old Orleton is a lovely old boutique hotel with all the modern amenities that you could want. The food and service was also brilliant. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location for walkin the Wrekin and to see all Shropshire has to offer. Very friendly staff, the room with its four poster bed was very comfortable. Individually cooked breakfast of our choice and wonderful evening meal.
