We chose the harbor view which never stopped the pleasure from sunrise till late at night. Melissa at the front desk was very helpful in the evening when I got tomato sauce on my shirt and gave me a cup of laundry detergent!

We arranged our reservations through Parker, the manager. He was extremely accommodating in getting to Long Beach's Catalina Express. He was accessible to answer any questions we had regarding our hiking trips. He also suggested two places that didn't disappoint us. The day before our trip, Fabian assisted us in making modifications to our Catalina Express reservation. Which greatly reduced our travel time on the island. Kata checked us in and was once more helpful in explaining a wide variety of things. We really liked all three of these people. A lovely continental breakfast and coffee that was available throughout the day were another surprise. I appreciate your efforts in such a long time.

The staff is great and helpful, but describing the room as small is understatement. a very small room. Queen bed very few people can use it, and showers will not fit bigger people. In terms of cleanliness, it is lower than 3 I 3. The rooftop deck is nice but it can be crowded. It doesn't open until 8 am, so no sunrise.

A compact but beautiful room, very clean, no odors, and in good condition. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was good and there was always coffee and snacks available. The views of the city and harbor below were beautiful as we lounged on their rooftop deck sipping drinks. Highly recommended Aurora!

Very very good stay! Yes, the room and bathroom are small. Catalina room inventory is not big, and most larger rooms are priced accordingly. The room itself was designed in a professional manner, with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, many electrical outlets, a small desk, and very good lighting. The rooftop ocean view deck was a great, mostly private place to enjoy the property. We interacted with several different people at the front desk during our stay, and they were extremely friendly, well trained and knowledgeable about the island. Would definitely stay there again.
