Beautiful unit, very well equipped and maintained. In the jungle. A pleasure to wake up with the sounds of nature,. Great location to move around and explore the island from. Our unit was upstairs, and very quiet.

Great stay, breakfast included pre wrapped granola bars and oatmeal packets along with good Kona coffee. Excellent location to Haiku and Paia.

We stayed in the Bamboo suite. We were pleasantly suprised and mindblown by how well maintained this property was. The whole space was just gorgeous and conveniently located close to the airport and at a perfect halfway point to either the west or east side of the island. Lots of greenery and rain so it stayed on the cooler side compared to the west side of the island.

An amazing hideaway in the North Shore! Peaceful and restful. Our room was bigger than expected with all the amenities. Owners did a great job ensuring it was very clean & with access to beach chairs & coolers.

We stayed in the Bamboo Suite. If you're looking for a romantic and adventurous stay in Maui away from the throngs of tourists, this is your spot. Easy jumping off point to the road to Hana and the volcano sunset/sunrise (both MUST do's when on the island.) Its also close to cute upcountry towns, our favorite was Makawao. There are pretty beaches nearby with turtles and surfers, but its windy especially in the afternoon. You will need to drive 40-60 minutes to the calmer beaches on the West and South side of the island.Having a luxurious spacious place to come home to was worth the scenic drive on our beach days. Place comes with everything you need for a beach day including beach chairs and a cooler (no umbrella or refreezable ice packs for the cooler so if you have room, pack those or check with Tom and Vicki if they've added thise). They are SUPER responsive hosts who live in another house nearby. You'll likely never see them, but they answered texts quickly. If you do the sunset/surise, bring the chairs-and warm clothes! Other notes: Wifi is super spotty, we were never able to stream anything, but gave us more time to connect as humans. Kitchen is nice, but not much of a pantry. Bring or buy your own spices/oil. GREAT shower. GREAT AC. GREAT shared lanai and gas grill. Never saw a cat or horse, but heard lots of birds amidst our peaceful jungle view.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Tom and Vicki put a lot of thought into the amenities and were easy to communicate with. HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking to stay just slightly off the beaten path. Loved the balcony, loved the closeness to Hana Hwy, and loved that we had a quiet, spacious, beautiful home to return to every evening after full days of exploring Maui. And the bed….omg! Was actually sad to return to our own bed after this stay! Thank you, Tom and Vicki for an excellent vacation!

It's a little out of town so you won't pop back and forth throughout the day- big inside area with nice kitchen with dishwasher on a well kept pretty property. We cooked breakfast daily and ate on the patio. There's a complimentary washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms, great water pressure with hot water, a comfy living room, beach towels and accessories, a dedicated parking spot by the door, and all of the creature comforts from home. We like to take a break during the day so I might stay in Kehei next visit, otherwise this was a wonderful place to stay with helpful hosts!

This place was awesome. We were upstairs. The pictures online do not come close to doing it justice. Snacks and drinks and filtered water were waiting for us. Perfectly clean throughout. VERY well appointed. Lacking absolutely nothing. Great central location convenient to see a little of everything. Quick to Paia Town, 60 min to Lahaina, 45 min Shortcut to Hana, 30 to Haleakala access road, 30 to airport. Not only Paia Town, but MANY other great little stops nearby (Ho Okipa Beach for sunset and Sea Turtles, Baked On Maui, Scared Garden, Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center, "Downtown" Makawao, La' Akela Village - self-suficient community for the autistic, Ali'i Kula Lavender). Forest view reminiscent of Costa Rica, plus a horse and fun little visiting cat outside. Large outside deck with tons of seating and a grill. Full kitchen with everything you need. Bathroom bigger than most bedrooms. Big Jacuzzi tub, very nice standing shower (bring your own shampoo). Huge vanity / mirror area. Great towels. Dining area seats up to 8 easily. All furniture was top notch, expensive, almost luxurious. Decor was tremendous. Choice of dining area seating, barstool seating, living room seating. Master bedroom was big, comfy four post bed, ceiling fans, gentle lighting overhead but plenty of lamps as well, big closet. There is even plenty of seating in the bedrooms. Multiple A/C units. Tons of Beach chairs, boogie boards for use when headed to Lahaina etc.

Very quiet and clean. The property is located in the jungle and we only had a view if the jungle. Only a small part of one house was visable. The lanai was a perfect place to relax. There is no lobby so no staff around but the owners are very responsive to email and left phone numbers to call if we needed anything. There is air conditioning in the kitchen and living room that have timers so they can be set to come on before you get back. I like that we were in a quiet area with very little traffic. There were many little touches that made our stay enjoyable. There was a basket of goodies to eat and fresh flowers. There were little notes everywhere to help us find things. They provided beach chairs, ice coolers, and boogie boards as well as beach towels. I would definately stay here again.
