Staff were super helpful and nice allowing early check in by a couple hours (since a room was available) and access to their parking. Parking was tight but secure/gated. Not much of a problem with a midsize vehicle or smaller any bigger and you may want someone outside the vehicle spotting you. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Marina and fisherman’s wharf walkable. But this hotel is only a couple blocks away from the hop on hop off bus stop. I’d recommend getting a day or two pass to that. You can learn more about the city on their tour and get to many of the best spots without having the hassle of parking. I don’t regret booking here and saved a few hundred dollars and payed half parking in compared to some of the other locations.

A really good location to stay in the city without spending a fortune. Buffet breakfast was pretty good and you could make your own hot fresh waffles - i really enjoyed these. Just a few minutes walk to the Big Bus Tour stops, we used these a lot to get round the city but also just a 25 - 30 minute walk down to the main Pier and promenade area. Staff were very good, a great welcome and lots of help when asked during our stay. Room was great, everything you need, especially air con, it was hot in June when we went.

I couldn’t believe the value of this hotel. The location was very easy to get in and out of the parking garage. Our room had great views of the water and Golden Gate!! It appears there was just a major renovation? Room looked brand new. I called the day before to ask for an early check in and upon arrival the room was ready. Never had to wait for the elevator for long periods of time The breakfast was not gourmet but adequate with eggs, sausages, cereals, waffles, and fresh fruit. Excellent location for those heading northbound after SF!! Would definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel price considering how close it was to the waterfront. I expected less. The breakfast was much better than a typical "continental" breakfast. Jean, who works at the front desk, was so helpful and very pleasant. We will definitely stay again if we're ever back in San Francisco!

The room at Comfort Inn was a great find and value. The desk staff were immensely helpful in offering ideas, directions and suggestions. Always smiling. The room was clean and functional with a delightful view of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. The location felt safe and a walk to Fisherman's Wharf and other attractions. Not a lot of restaurants in the area, but did walk to Prime Rib, where they offer only delicious prime rib in various cuts. Great restaurant!

We had a 2 night stay, beds were clean and comfortable. Our Bay view was outstanding! The breakfast was great, good selection of choices and staff were topping up items and cleaning constantly which was fab. The hotel was an easy walk to reach the waterside and Pier 39. Great location. Area was clean and quiet. Safe to walk around with my family. The hotel room was a little dated but with all the other perks we didn’t care. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to other families.

Definitely the nicest hotel in the area and in a safe neighborhood hood. Easy to find being right off the main strip and I didnt have to drive up any huge hills, that was a plus. Not far from shopping or the wharf area. Clean rooms, breakfast was decent too.
