This place is not great, though I have stayed here many times, like other Marriotts in the do area. Being a Marriott member, I have always been greeted with a thank you for your return, etc. Except for the other day. I was just checked in and was not given a room on the first level. Okay, I thought it would be nice. However, the room was a couple of feet from cars parked directly in front and looking out onto extremely busy 29 which is noisy. There were sliding glass doors with no patio only a lot of big rocks in front of them. I requested another room, and was offered one on the second floor. The room was clean and very quiet, and the bedding is lovely. But the spring cover was a complete mess. The edging was torn and hung over the springs. It was awful. I asked the maid for lotion despite the fact that I forgot to bring some. He didn't have anything. I asked at the front desk, and I also never got any. It's not pleasant to have little toiletries to use while traveling, but don't expect anything at this hotel. There are plastic bottles bolted to the shower, which are to be used by anyone. All of it is a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I also had to ask for a little bar of soap for the bathroom sink

I normally receive a one-bedroom suite, but I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this one, which was larger than the others I've been at. The lady in the breakfast area was great, as was the front desk staff. Carpet in the room needs to be replaced in areas. I would stay again.

In the aftermath of the pandemic, this was a wise decision because there were clean rooms and common areas. The fact that the hotel's restaurant and bar were completely closed, despite being mentioned on the website and in most thirdparty listings, is what dissatisfies us. We reserved through Marriott's website and ought to have most likely programmed a topup to warn us when booking. Also, housekeeping promptly gave guests a photocopied letter saying cleaning only occurs once a week. Although this is a good location for exploring suburban, which is when traveling by car, there are few eateries close by.
