When a hotel is neat and tidy with pleasant workers that means management directs their staff to be this way and hard working employees make it happen. Day Inn ER, WI has neat and tidy lobby, pool area, rooms and breakfast area. Staff is very accommodating and don’t mind stepping out of their lane to be helpful. Great place, especially for a winter snowmobile stay with plenty of parking for trailers and such. And hot tub to unwind.

The only items I wish were in the rooms were and iron and ironing board alone with a coffee pot and coffee for more convenience and time control while traveling for work.

Parking was not good. Too many large trucks and trailers parked in prime locations and over the lines of the very narrow spaces, preventing any car from getting into 'available' spaces. We had to park way in the back, which was a huge inconvenience, as we were in the front of the building. There really should be designated spaces at the back of the building for these vehicles. Possibly, instructions should be posted and additional fees charged for violators. People in the room next to us and across the hall were loud and rude in slamming doors and TV and just talking. They were probably a little drunk as this started at 2:30am until about 4am. Our room was clean and very nice. Employees were courteous. However, our stay was very disappointing. We most likely will not be back.

Bathroom sink had no drain, so when I brushed my teeth, I washed my face. The water stayed in the sink. Room was very clean.

We stayed for two nights. It was loud - guests in hallways, couples fighting. Our room was near the ice machine which didn’t help but we swore the walls were the thinnest we’d ever experienced in a hotel. There was no soap on arrival and we couldn’t find staff to get any. The hotel says daily housekeeping, but all they did was come in and finally give us soap and empty trash and refill towels. Nothing wiped down. Bed not made much less sheets changed, Bathroom not cleaned. The grout in the bathroom looks like it’s rarely cleaned or with a dirty mop when it is. We used the hot tub one night and the ceiling was leaking on us. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows are the size of couch throw pillows. The brkfst - not great. The location was convenient, and the hallway areas were clean but despite looking updated they need to some serious maintenance - to the roof if nothing else.

The self-closing doors on the rooms are too loud! Every time a door shut it could be heard on the entire floor. Very difficult to relax and sleep!

There was no closet just 3 hangers on a coat rack on the wall. There were chip crumbs on the platform that the mattress was on. Hair in the bathroom floor and on the tub that WASN'T from us. Only 1 set of bath towels. Even though we didn't use the shower, it would have been nice to have two sets of towels. We didn't even use the shower. There was something "brown" on the wall between the sink and the bedroom. It could have been chocolate or it could have been.......... The whole place echoed. You could hear the baby crying down the hallway at 530 am. We were not impressed at all.
