The place was wonderful, the staff is so warm and inviting. We were concerned with the travel to and from French Quarters, but the peace and tranquility we got when we got back to Elsa’s place made it more than worth it. This will be a place we will stay often

Had an amazing time. Very relaxing. The owners/staff are the sweetest. The food was absolutely AMAZING, its made from scratch and with love! The dining room where you have breakfast was beautiful. The room was cute and clean, Bed was comfortable. The tub in the bathroom was huge! There's a bonfire pit with patio. They are a newer business, only been open for 2 years and they talked about how they're going to be adding things. I will be booking with them again in the future. Excited to see what they add on.

Our stay at Elsa's Place Bed & Breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It's about 40 minutes outside of New Orleans, and the drive is easy and absolutely worth it if you're looking for a peaceful, cozy place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome. They treated us like friends rather than guests. We mentioned that we wanted to try an authentic Louisiana seafood boil, and they immediately started calling local places to see what was open for us. That level of kindness and hospitality meant so much. The breakfast we had was incredible! We enjoyed homemade shrimp and grits, eggs, bacon, fresh scones, and the freshest fruit we've ever had. I have to mention the grapes because they were perfectly crisp (I love a good crunchy grape!). My husband Michael couldn't get enough of the homemade cookies they had available for guests, either. One of my favorite parts of our stay was getting to sit and chat with one of the owners. She shared her inspiring story about coming from East Africa, meeting her husband, and creating this beautiful bed and breakfast. She was genuinely interested in hearing about our lives too, and even congratulated us on our journey and future plans. It felt like talking with family. If you're visiting New Orleans and don't mind a short, easy drive, this is the place to stay. It's quiet, beautiful, comfortable, and full of genuine hospitality.

We are so glad that we found Elsa's! It is a beautiful place. The family went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. The second day we were leaving for an early fishing charter. They made us a breakfast and snacks the night before to take. The property was delightful! They made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend!

Property is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, beyond what you would expect for this type of venue. The staff were outstanding, made you feel like part of the fabulous family that owns and operates the venue. Loved the quiet location away from the hustle of New Orleans, yet great restaurants only a few easy miles away. It was the perfect wind down before we flew out the next day. The frogs singing by the canal were amazing! So entertaining! Coffee on the decks, homemade cookies upon arrival, amazing huge breakfast…a fabulous place! Can’t say enough about our wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic day at Elsa‘s Place. My 12-year-old son and I stayed here during a father and son fishing trip. The owners, staff, and accommodations were excellent. The chocolate chip cookies and breakfast sandwiches they may for us before our early morning Fishing departure were fantastic as well. We will be back!
