Overall, I'd book again. I should add that the woman in charge needed training on how to handle guests. Although not outright rude, her tone was a little demeaning and not very understanding of a canceled flight and my attempt to have a later checkout. I realize she was only doing her job, but she could have easily used a more accommodating tone. This motel isn't the shabby, but it is reasonably priced and cozy. I would make another reservation. Note that I did call three times before we left to remind them of my need. Clean room for my one-year-old grandchild.

Google lists this as a 2-star motel.. which is very nice for a two-star hotel! I made a reservation assuming it was a 3-star hotel. And it was a mess! This motel is referred to under three distinct names. Be cautious. The location is good, a block from the beach, not far from Lauderdale by the sea. There is a lovely tiki bar outside with a decent menu. The rooms include a tiny fridge, microwave, and even a kitchenette if you're into this route. Although I've read that some rooms were updated, the place is outdated, smells like stale smoke, and smoke throughout the common areas. The room was dark and the water was yellow. There was no free drinking water, the closet door was falling off, and only one towel was provided. Three police were there when checking in to solve a problem. The cleaning lady woke me up before 8 a.m. and then walked in on me a second time while I was impatient. The images fool me.
