During my first trip to Hawaii, I couldnt have chosen a nicer location to stay. A genuinely friendly staff immediately greeted me and made me feel at home. I stayed in the forest cabin and the guesthouse. In honor of God, it is just 15 minutes from awake falls and walking distance to a fantastic bakery and beautiful local stores. The rooms in which I stayed were lovely, spotless, and charming in the area. It resembled something truly authentic Hawaiian that I was sure I would have experienced at a hotel or resort. I joined the staff at a local event in Hill while I was there, which was a lot of fun. I thoroughly appreciated their company. If you are seeking a unique experience that enhances your connection to the island beyond a level. If I return to Hawaii, I will undoubtedly return!.

Even though the hayaku guest house is more a jungle experience, we really like our stay. The place is cute and the waterfall is beautiful! But the sofa bed is not really comfortable and can't fit 2 adults. Special thanks to Houston for the warm welcome.

We will return here. While visiting the major island of Hawaii, we spent two wonderful nights at the Hakeaku house and a cabana camp. The inhabitants were very welcoming, and everything was clean. The hammocks were cozy, there was a great outdoor seating area, and there was a shared kitchen. There was a wonderful experience sleeping there, with all the sounds of the wildlife in the surrounding forest as well as a spectacular sky filled with stars at night.

The location is good and it was a pleasure to stay there for one night. The bedsheet is not provided or the damp fleece blankets are provided. The communal areas are filthy and unorganized. If you need the bath towels at night, it's a long way, but it's not if you are 57 or older and on a tight budget.

The simple, off-grid camp with clean rooms was perfect for my husband and me to rest before exploring the coast and nearby waterfalls. We love waking up to the beautiful ocean view and nature's sounds. A good touch to leave air plugs for my husband to use.
