I randomly found myself in Pikeville and was happy to see there was a Hampton Inn in the center of town. Right next to the downtown center with a couple of fun restaurants within walking distance. Pikeville's downtown has a remarkable history that you need to know to appreciate.

Within easy walking distance of several restaurants. Room clean and quiet. Air conditioner good, shower water hot. 4:30 a.m. coffee fresh and hot. Breakfast good standard hotel fare. Pool and gym looked nice, but did not use. Free parking in either street or next door municipal garage. All staff friendly and helpful. We were in town for annual event nearby. If we come to event again next year, we will not be researching for alternative accommodation

Parking garage was next to the hotel (FREE-parking). Everything was clean! The room was very nice and comfortable. The pool area was clean and user friendly with a bathroom and towels available in the area. The breakfast was impressive. Walking distance to the Arena. Check in and out was a breeze.

The breakfast was awesome and the attendants were super friendly. The pool was refreshing. The bottom needs refinishing and the shallow end is very shallow but it was very welcome after a long day in the sun watching a UPIKE Baseball double header.
